Great technique, similar to how my coach has shown. Frustrating when fighting opponents that lock out and don't attempt any attacks.

Against most BJJ guys who have two hand grips, they will usually just jump to guard or pull guard in a few seconds. It seems better to NEVER let a BJJ guy get two grips on you, no matter what. As a judo and bjj fan, this strategy seems to work better than trying to grip fight as in judo as BJJ guys are so prone to just pulling guard against a judo guy. Judokas are much better than BJJ guys in grip fighting - as this is what judo is about - so grip fight, get a dominating grip and let the BJJ guy fly.

yes they are in a bad position straight away, due to them pushing, and low as well, so they are off balance

My instructor taught a way to do tai otoshi where you doa. Similar movement. It's interesting because usually you do a throw by Hando no Kuzushi, balance breaking by reaction. E.g. I push his head left, he recovers by pushing right (from my perspective) so i throw him right. But the strange this is with this set up you push his head left and you throw him left (as in to my left, or left handed it doesn't matter the point is you throw him in the same direction even though you'd expect to try and throw him in the opposite as he recovers)

just break is his balance, pushing and low hip is very bad for bjj, you get thrown very easy from any sacrifice throw. still interesting idea

I think especial for mor my area, you will be slammed back if you will try this. Not fully sure regarding using such move.
