About DeepGame Basketball by Coach Taylor Allan:
We teach players how to master the part of basketball that is played with the mind, through learning, practicing, and executing the 8 Laws of the Deep Game:
Law #1:
The Law of Presence
Performance increases as thought decreases.
Law #2:
The Law of Reverse Effort
The harder you try to play well, the more difficult the game becomes.
Law #3:
The Law of Extremes
As emotion increases, consistency decreases.
Law #4:
The Law of Transformation
The player who seeks growth advances faster than the player who seeks accomplishment.
Law #5:
The Law of Identity
The player you believe yourself to be is the player you will see.
Law #6:
The Law of Magnetism
The game comes to the player who does not try to pull the game towards himself.
Law #7:
The Law of Mastery
The game rewards the player who needs no reward other than the game itself.
Law #8:
The Law of Transcendence
Basketball is not life; it is a teacher of life.

Good way to do this is simply: Whenever you are "talking" to yourself in your mind wether you should or should not do that thing, simply say shut up, and starting counting to 3. Then get up on 3.

No don’t count to 3 just quit thinking and do it if you start counting you can easily stop yourself

I think a good point to start with is taking it a bit easier and avoid putting to much pressure on yourself. Try to recognize the opportunity you have to play the most beautiful game, and enjoy it as if you were playing with your friends. Also I suggest you to take the free masterclass (first link in the description) and learn the DeepGame principles. Try to work on them, even only to begin with, and I'm sure you'll do great things.

@@user-rn6cn6qx8k The only way to convince yourself you now the plays and can run the offense is by actually knowing how to run the offense and doing it well. Luckily, 2 weeks is usually plenty of time to get a good grasp on your team's offense. Make the best of practice, and work to learn the plays - Simon, Team DeepGame

Please bro answer to me, normally I go to the weightroom today every monday, but today I am tired and feel just tired. I have my training with my team Wednesday and I know how tired I will be in Wednesday just by my school and the fact i finish at 6pm, my performance if I m tired actually affect me, I am less good. So what advice do you recommend to me ? Don’t go or go to the weight room Thanks for your video they help so much !

you should go anyway and do your best.

Ultimately it is a good practice to get to know the signs your body is telling you and adjust from there, but in this case I'd probably recommend you just go and do it. It's just one workout, your body adjusts very quickly, and how fatigued you are isn't necessarily a straight line up or down - it fluctuates. And even if you'll be slightly more tired when you train with your team, that's not going to be as detrimental as getting into the habit of listening these thoughts - Simon, Team DeepGame

Hey coach, how do I implement these laws into my game and head I watched the 1hour video and wrote all my notes but I struggle implementing it, it’s a lot and hard to just get it into your head
@DeepGameBasketball
@DeepGameBasketball 4 месяца назад
Right, what you're noticing is that the point is not to memorize the laws, but rather, to understand them on a fundamental level. Learning about the laws and taking notes on the masterclass and videos is a good first step, but you're also going to need to complete certain exercises and practices on a routine basis to ingrain the concepts further into your system. In the masterclass, each law is paired with one technique, and we share techniques in pretty much every video we post on this channel. Pick the ones that resonate with you (make sure to include meditation), do them daily or however often they are prescribed / needed, and do that for a long period of time (weeks, months, etc.) - Simon, Team DeepGame

@@DeepGameBasketball thank you but for some laws it’s meant to be implemented in game or a certain scenario like law 3, can I learn it in practise or some other way
@DeepGameBasketball
@DeepGameBasketball 4 месяца назад
@@hass8625 Yes of course, as I mentioned most of our videos mention some sort of practice. Allow yourself to be a bit looser with which practice pertains to which law, and just do what practice you learn from us that you think needs to be done most. It might be more than one, and again, make sure meditation is one of them. That's the foundation - Simon, Team DeepGame
