Kangaroo. :) I'm interested in trying out this tool. Thank you for your hard work in creating it. I think my issue is going to be (and always is) that I have a casual income, which varies greatly fortnight to fortnight. It always makes budgeting difficult.
Please do a video comparing the guaranteed 15% return you get for in investing money pretax into super vs investing money into Australian brokerage accounts.
Please do a video about sinking funds and another video about payday routines. I use a $2000 sinking fund and a pay day routine to manage my fortnightly budget.
@@MrDangerboy32 I keep $2000 as a sinking fund that I top every time I get paid. Then I send all the extra money to my home loan offset account. I salary sacrifice $100 per week into my super fund that tracks the MSCI world index, this index only charges me 0.1% per year. it's the Overseas index option from rest Super. My super is 100% invested in this option. I don't do any stock trading outside of super because money you put pretax into super gets a guaranteed 15% as soon as it hits your super. This % is even higher for super high-income earners. I track my net worth in a simple spread sheets that adds my home equity, bank balances and all other assets together. It's good because I can update the spread sheet randomly to get a good snapshot of my net worth.
