how do you like the car? I can't decide whether a 340 or an rs3. 340 is a bit cheaper and mods are cheaper but slower. rs3 is faster but everything from mods to maintence is way more expensive

the motor getting built probably had labor included. The rest of the mods don’t look too hard.

It's true though. A gutted RS3 with just an intake, radiator, E85 and a tune will run 9.9s. Stock engine, fuel system, turbo etc. If you don't want a gutted car, a full interior TTRS can do the same time.

u can insure car with mods atleast in EU if u have invoice for modyfications. u just when u buy insurance u provide invoices for modyfications and this rises value of car u are insuring and basically in the end u tell them how much cash u want insure the car for. and they will give u rate that u have to pay and that's it :P That is how u mode smart.. that is why people who mod expensive cars.. go to more expensive shops that give invoice so they can include it in insurance instead of doing work in friend garage.

The homologated mods also cost 1.5-5x times than unhomologated ones and often give marginal gains. Also the car's size and drivetrain geometry can't be modified most of the times.

@@trevorjelam on the street? I seen a clip on your ig doing a 2nd gear pull on the street and your steering wheel correction was 90 degrees. With an lsd the car will move and point forward even when it's spinning. I have one and it made a huge difference.

@dokterkarel the B58's intercooler is inside the intake manifold, this has a larger intercooler core and better water flow, also has ports for the nitrous and port injection so def a lot more that 20hp lol

@@Rashingonot only is that price cheaper that the base Hellcat, it’s also half of what I’d needed to gap it. You can spend 10 grand on a b58 and the ‘Cat is left in the dust. 30k+10k for 40k. You’re not touching any ‘Cat that hasn’t been wrecked for 40k. And it drive around corners too which is a great feature. Hybrid turbo E50 is all you need to run high 6 for 60-130 which is cars ahead of Redeye (low to mid 7s). Big turbo boys is another story… yes it’s modded to stock. Who cares? It’s total spent. It’s hard to come up with a value for the performance in a car that is still streetable daily. Basically it’s this car and maybe 5.0 and 392 and LT1 with a super charger/turbos that can compete. Slim group that can hit speed like this can in the price bracket. I’m not saying a modded Hellcat can’t do better, it can. But you’re spending MAYBE 60 to get the base (questionable history) and then you’re down 20 grand to the Bimmer and slower. Just not worth if you want this speed level and still have a street car (not rolling drag pack 24/7, drinking a hall of fuel every 10 miles, having every cop and their mom scoping you at every juncture, insurance that’s as much as a car payment, ect.)

@@LAH92 zf8* is a Standard Torque converter 8spd auto that comes in the B58 cars, its miles ahead of its time for a Auto shifttng just milliseconds slower than a dct, and it has a conventional torque converter that lets us leave off the line harder than clutch dumping a dct
