You have to love the British racer / bike community. They race , blog, vlog, trial, commentate and fuck about together so well. Like a great big daft family. love 'em all.
This is one of the reasons I don't understand the focus on getting young riders into junior European Championships. Anyone who has watched BSB knows how tough it is, maybe not in terms of super duper bikes, but in terms of surviving the British conditions (usually rain, lots of rain) some seriously technical tracks and no nonsense opponents.
That was a great video. Looked like you enjoyed putting it back together. Saw a PW50 in the background and bought one of these for my son more than 25 years ago when he was 4 or 5. He had some fantastic fun on that and has had about 10 or more bikes since and up to now. Couldn't get him off it each time we took it out. I still think these are one of the best kids bikes you can get and they've never changed them after all these years so that says a lot. Keep it up Lee and all the best for 2022.
Congratulations on your first ever bike build. Pretty impressive. I have a Aprilia RS125cc out in my garden which needs rebuilding. I have no bike knowledge but having watched your build, maybe i have a small chance lol Excellent work and look forward to seeing the test run. Awesome.
Lee you have got a lot more mechanical knowledge than many of us, such a daunting task (to me) and yet you stride through it easily. A tremendous effort mate.
Nice one Lee! Hard to tell from the time lapse footage but you did lubricate the head stock bearings, didn’t you? PS you mentioned in one blog that you might not be back to the BSB circus in 2022. Any updates on that?
I remember hiring one of those gag bikes back in 1988 i was on holiday in corfu, all the moped hire spots had them and they were all over the island! The one I hired was a suzuki gsxr rep! FCUKIN good holiday!!👊✊💥💨💨
(written before viewing) IF you have been paying attention to Neil , his magic will have rubbed off on you lol , i'm gonna go with YES you can build it and YES it will go, lets see....
Lee, sack the Editor...no really, how did the engine get from the bike into the frame, who helped you, Mrs J, I'm only joking about getting sacked, if it wasn't for you these blogs would be terrible
