the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. ru-vid.comUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

Congrats Chris, been a long time watcher (from the beginning) and have been wanting to build a desk like this for a while. Being a weekend woodworker (by this I mean a weekend once in a blue moon) I have been lying to myself thinking I could design and build a desk like this. Consider the video plans sold! i didn't realize until three minutes before the end that I was very much watching a long commercial. Did a good job of editing so that you really can't take a lot away from the video in terms of building this without getting the actual plans.

3 years late but I don't care! Better late than never! That idea & design of the desk with drawers is just purely great. I think this is the type of desk & drawer design that I've been looking for a gaming table, just make the drawer a bit wider(my personal reference). You'll have a wide enough and long spaces to move around with so you won't feel cluttered. A long keyboard & mouse mat, 2 monitor arm stand clamped on one side and a mic stand on the other. Still have enough room to put your other stuffs on it. Then the pc itself will be positioned on top of the drawer, no need to put it on the floor or on the edge of the table. I absolutely love the idea! 😍❤ #TheDesquire

I have to say this is really in line with "Frank Loyd Wright" design, functional, practical (Transportable Capable) and just Beautiful.) I really enjoy your method of covering all of the Challenging aspects of Building pieces especially when you had to attach the Privacy panel! In addition you also made great use of latest and greatest tech Domino Break down Floating ten-non mechanism. Please keep up our channel just love it and it has inspired my creations of cabinetry

I agree, a great desk. Those inner-bevels really put it over the top. The intro was great and as always, an enjoyable video. Interestingly enough, the "veneer prison" caught Shaun without a phone!

I just found you and am really enjoying your videos. As an FYI, non-structural privacy panels are primarily for hiding things you would see if the person sitting at the desk was wearing a knee-length or shorter skirt.

Been away making money and too busy to hobby build (2 plus years). Retiring and downsizing house and unfortunately my workshop as well. To the point this desk is a work of art and a large progression from your similar desk from a few years back. Love it! This will be my 1st build from my new tiny workshop 13X19, ugh as my daughter would say. Of course I’ll buy your plans, but a quick question 1st, I have a bunch of walnut, yet to be milled. What do you think about mixing in some walnut with the maple? I respect you brother by another mother’s skill set as well, you guys were my 2 favorite scribes before I put my nose back to the grindstone. All the best Jeff
