*Very easy to set up and use, attractive but be sure you understand the height--it's not tall. The heat is not overwhelming, but steady and pleasant fireplace **fireplace.homes** . It's quiet, too. I like the possibility of easily moving it from room to room in the event we want supplemental heat elsewhere. Definitely a good buy.*
Wow! You did a wonderful job on that wall! I am hesitant about hanging a wall mounted electric heating panel. You built an entire wall. That’s so cool and it looks amazing!
great video. Thank you so much of posting this. I am having a house built and they are installing a fireplace for me but its just going to be recessed on regular drywall. I was afraid i wouldnt be able to tile the wall without having to get someone to take the fireplace off. You saved me!
MISS Thommas thats awesome! I’m glad this was able to help... please share my video with friends and family! If you subscribe, you can see a few of my other builds.
Excellent job. I will be doing the exact same thing soon. I saved your video to my list! Just a couple of tips. When doing the stone above the opening, you could screw a board to the top inside the opening, Then use shims to hold the stone up higher if necessary. Later, unscrew the board. To trim the stone, get an angle grinder. They do endless things and are the Swiss Army Knife of tools. Put a grinding wheel on it. The sander is not aggressive enough, even though you got it done. Congrats on your build.
Love it!! I wish I had seen this video before I did my fireplace on my channel. Your skill level is WAY above mine, but I like how you really break it down and gave great tips. Thanks for sharing!
PinkPlatinum thanks a lot for stopping by and leaving a comment. I appreciate the feedback. I take longer to do my jobs than most experts but I think as long as you like what you are doing it doesn’t matter how long it takes. Please subscribe, and I will go check out your channel also.
That is very classy and beautiful great job ! if that was me I would’ve got up the next morning and picked around the corner to make sure none of the stones fell off ., just kidding. I would want to sit and look at it all day. awesome!!👍
Nice! Next time, above the tv, try installing a light metal lintel into the wall to support the stone, instead of having to wait for it to dry. Looks great!!!
Great job! I only noticed one thing and maybe you addressed it. The electrical that was existing behind the fire place must be accessible. You can do one of two things, bring it out flush with the new wall or remove it entirely witch may require new wiring from upstream outlet to downstream outlet.
How perfect this vid is. I'm wanting to do the same wall in my house. This just popped up as a recommendation to watch. Someone is looking out for me! Thx
I don't want to startle you but your phone listens in on your conversations and ironically recommends ads and or videos based on your conversation. That's Google for you.
Joshua Johnson thanks for watching! To be honest, I wasn’t handy until I was. Lol. I just kept trying and before you know it, it started making sense. Give it a shot.
Fantastic! I've been wanting to do something like this forever! Some of your ideas are really great, and makes me actually want to build this now! Great video!
New subscriber here, you pop up as a recommendation. Happy it did. I want to do the same thing in my home. I do some DIY’s but this is above my talents. Great job, it looks great.
It looks very very beautiful I love it you got skills and it look elegant it really brought out the room I'm going to try to get my son's to make me one
Nice work, but I wish the video could've been longer giving the viewers a step by step direction on how to complete a project like this. I'm no DIY expert, but I definitely wouldn't mind learning how to design a few of these luxurious home amenities myself! Look forward to more of your projects in the future, along with having a thorough knowledge on how to complete a few of these tasks by myself.
Antonio Jefferson Thanks for watching! I wanted to have a video short enough to keep the viewers attention but long enough to show how and what I did. The next video will be longer for sure. Please subscribe.
Outstanding Brah!!!! I'm gonna do this in my apt. because it looks easy to take down when its time to move out. I've got to come up with a different finish tho. I'm thinking about wrapping it in designer vinyl wall paper. But thanks for the inspiration!!
Bryant DORSEY That sounds like it will look amazing. You could definitely assemble in a way that it could slide in and out. You notice I never cut into the baseboard. I say go for it and come back to share your link. 👍🏾
