They say that because of the 5.5 degree preset inclination of the vvel control cam...u can totally take them apart, do it all the time; I made videos on how to rephase the control motor with the control cam and tower assembly..I read that same notation years ago..it's more for factory doods

@@sethjoyner391 i was meaning the bigger part that holds the cam in. The 4 caps with letters and the black bolts, and the rocker arm assembly part. Do y'all just wash that thing whole or disassemble it?

@Mizagyu ahhh...gotcha, yep, don't mess with it..just brake cleaner and re oil after assembly 😀

Oh...I really couldn't say, but, if u can access machine shop charges, plus parts, plus engine assembly ($1500 to $2000)...give u an idea

Mehhh....between work and a toddler. Lol...the only thing I can do these days is rebuild engines and turbochargers from home.

Question brother , does csf have the option to get the engine back build or they just do the machine work? Also how much for do you charge for something like this I know all the parts for the engine are separate but labor wise.

@kevinluna7830 I'm not sure if they will build a full timed long block...but, for sure they sell assembled rotating assembly short blocks (that I know for sure; since I've used them a few times from them) cost, have no clue...however, the guy that shop is super friendly and helpful 😉
