Hey so I bought a bare k20 head it stamp says rbc I’m not sure what year it is I’m looking to buy oem valves do they have to be specific to the engine year or can I buy any k20 oem valves for example rsx type s valves would I be able to use on the rbc head ?
I have an K20A2 at home, motor needs to be rebuilt for sure because of its high mileage. If I were to pick up a K24A2 block from a 06 plus TSX how much would a build like this cost?
Cool but top dead center is top dead center. Just look at the cam lobes, cylinder 1 valves are not open. Thats why we set it to tdc so we don't screw up the motor.

You should really ask the machine shop about the crank pulley,the crank pulley is balanced with the tire rotating assembly therefore you should have the existing crank pulley I’m out of balance her on the block not a smaller one,unless it’s Balanced correctly with the crank rods and pistons attached on a machine.just like when you have tires done on new wheels.what happens when tires that aren’t balanced??Same thing will her and your crank and will disturb the bearings.I highly recommend putting the original RBB crank pulley that comes on that block
Hi, I got a complete k20a2 swap for my 93 eg. I’m done with my build. Only thing is I got a p1607 code on the ecu that came with the motor. Can I use a different prb ecu for the k20a2. If so does it need to be reprogrammed to run my motor?
k20 aluminum oil pans work on k24 but you cant use a k24 steel pan on a k20 oil pump becasue the k20 oil pumps( Type S and R) have deep pickup,so the k24 oil pan will hit the k20 oil pump pickup
you can even use ak 24 crank sensor but you will have to swap the the blue signal wire and ground and power wire too.Just a 5 min job if you know.The diagram is over th net
so my 03 RSX has a rod knock... For California smog purposes can I just take the head, put it on a k24 block and run everything stock as if it never was swaped?
