I made a pallet wood shelf some years back but I was not 100% happy about it. The big known secret to making hard wood shine is to sand, sand and sand - then sand some more finishing up with at least grit 240… blow dust away…. then apply oil…. Wax…. and buff the wax up a bit. It is such a rewarding sight when the wood springs to life.

Love the project and love that you keep the bloopers in. Really makes it feel real and inspires regular people to try these projects.

My brother back at it again with informative, entertaining content! I will tell my friends to subscribe to you as well we can learn a lot from you!! You said something remarkable, "there is great potential wasted when wood isn't portrayed properly". Jesus Christ was a carpenter and I love carpentry try to impress my wife every now and then without getting laughed at 😂. A wise man once said "life has a climb and its the rough edges that help us reach the summit". If the climb is smooth there would be nothing to grab unto. God bless you keep on keeping on🙏❤

I just came in after working on my thursday video project. As I was sanding it I was thinking how lucky I am to have guys like you watching, listening and commenting. I can't say it enough how much it means to me. The "climb" you refer to is so true. "If you only do what you can do you will never be more than you are now."

Thanks Ümit! This would be best served over a beer :) Short version. 1. I didn't know how to use tags before after 7 months posting videos. 2. I didn't have searchable titles 3. I have not made "trendy" things 4. I really do have a small audience don't I :D I think the algorythm is still trying to figure out who will watch my videos... But I follow a Swedish Photografer that had 800 the first year... (I'll be at 500).. His third year he has +400k.. To me - this just makes me push to be better and make better content. I'm loving the process and being so small also makes me able to reply to everybody. But yeah, I wish for this to be my job, so I need more people watching eventually. Thanks for taking an interest - it means a lot to me.

Fastening the shelves with screws like that is pretty barbaric. But it holds really good, is the fastest way and you don't see the screws anyway! *_How many has gotten an order from their wives to make these?_* 😂
