Also dude, you should try to make Winged hussar helmets or Roman Galea helmets, i built one and it turned out sick but since your a genius you can probably make a better looking one

A Suggestion, perhaps you could make a messer, a german knife-sword. I made one using a broomstick as a support as you might've and it turned out great
I think you should try experimenting cardboard with "Epoxy" or "Fibreglass resins" to make your cosplay become moldproof, Unbreakable, Waterproof, Harden and Stronger
For anyone who is wondering, for a good paper mache you should have double the water than you do flower. P.S I love your vids and I am making cardboard armor of my own.

I've been working on something similar myself, wanting to paper Mache all plates of armor and used fine grit sandpaper to make the surface fine with no ripples, bends or bumps. Then the plan is to paint with paints and primers to get that realistic metal look.
That’s a good idea, here’s some advice if you sand you will most likely tear the dry paper mache so in order to smooth out those bumps go slow with the paper mache job but if there are still any ripples then make a glue and water mixture to re-wet the newspaper strips and rub them down into place so there’s no bumps. Definitely a better way of finish

I’m trying to perfect a paper clay recipe so I can sculpt creature/animal designs onto swords, armor weapons etc but haven’t got it quite right yet, thinking of making a latex casting and gluing to the surface to keep weight down and help it stick better
Yeah but I’m not into giant anime swords because of their impracticality. But here’s a tip, make sure your shaft is long enough and the material is something light like Eva foam or one layer of cardboard

That’s why I started a RU-vid channel because I just happen to have a talent. But that doesn’t mean you can’t do it. It helps to get some graph paper and sketch out what your plans are whether you’re building something mechanical or just a prop
