dont forget to fill in any holes with as many leaves and other things to help turn them back into dirt and stop people from falling in and getting hurt, also with how close your hole is to the jump it will slowly erode away and start taking the dirt from the jump
Thanks for subbing! In my last tour of the trails, we realized it was a big problem, and ended up digging the entire trail down to the pit level. This gave us tons of dirt to build big tables
Just wondering because the various DIY videos I've watched have started with logs, and I understand why...but do the logs break down over time and cause the jump to destabilize or cave in a bit?
Build a jump with a gap , and put pallets in it. When your done with being a panzy remove the pallets! Also dirt use clay if possible if not use the brown dark dirt. Dont build next to the jump due to bailing but build atleast 3 feet away and it could be use as drainage later
@@trailreviews3628 just about to hit flying squirrel for the first time then duthie closed. and I have a broken leg for the summer. Bummer. Your videos are great though!
