We highly recommend the smart siding with the radiant barrier!

These are all very good products however with todays other costs competing for our available dollars they are not budget friendly. I would use them exclusively if the manufacturer or Home Depot would provide appropriate coupons. How many other viewers have this same concern and needs?

What size and type of nails did you guys use to attach the siding?

Where does one get that flashing for the top trim piece on the window?

What kind of nail is used?

That flashing is installed wrong. The large flat side is supposed to be under the siding above the windows and door, not tucked behind the trim.

Please refer to the Shed Planner section under the Resources tab on our website to access shed plans. They can be used as a guide to assist in building a shed.

thanks for video. what kind of "trim nailer" is used? seems LP suggests on their trim videos to use a full head nail, but this video 20:40 seems to be using a brad, 15-16 gauge? ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QfRrqFr0KZs.html )

Trim nails may be used to attach trim. Please reference the Alternative Fastening Option - Trim Nails section found on page 3 of the Trim & Fascia application instructions.

online directions say not to cut bevel into trim edges... why is demo showing it wrong?

@21:19 Definitely not flashed properly… It’s not really doing the job of flashing… water can still get behind it and it’s going to leak. Rookie mistake 😅

LP states to install window directly to 2X4 framing, not to the LP Smart Siding. Why are you showing it otherwise? From LP Website: Always install your windows and flashing to the studs before you hang your LP SmartSide panel siding. Carefully cut the window opening in the panel with a 3/16-inch gap along the sides and the bottom of the window, and a 3/8-inch gap along the top.

See if you can nail a little slower.
