my homie got one in poor condition for around 1500 and it’s the 2000 special edition. we’ve been working on it to get the idle smooth and it hasn’t been bad at all. great car for anyone just learning how to use tools
ngl not a fan of the basic deuce build. try something nobody's done before, mess around with fiberglass and bondo! also MeisterR makes some affordable coils with great performance.
Just got my 91’ Miata for 3k it has 200k miles but it has very well maintained throughout its life not a single mechanical issue I just need to get a mirror and a taillight bulb along with a alignment was it a good deal
KBD Reps Wrap These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect TikTok Miata. But Professor Eboy accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction; Broken heart stickers.
just got a 97 1.8 NA, 200k on the body 115k on the motor 0 issues has hot heat n cold ac lowered & on wheels n some few other tasteful mods 😁 paid $2800 from my buddy! (Has very minimal rust too)
In my area, you can still kind of find these miatas for around 3-4k, but they usually need some paint. The nicer ones run around 7k, but that's usually with some nicer wheels and a hardtop.
😂😂 I love how he calls it a "budget" but then says the build will cost like 7k thats just a regular build homie you dont know what a budget build is 💀💀
@@JacobChamness23It wouldnt even be worth the 30 hour drive just to have to sit there and watch you line up your daddy's money pos and get smoked by k swapped big turbo civic 💀💀
@@rustyrebuilds1046 Somebody doesn't understand the concepts of a "Show car", ofc you could gap it for half the cost. If he was going for budget performance he'd say to buy any clapped shitter for cheap and just boost it, even a miata can be boosted to 250-300hp with a shitty turbo.
So, i got my mx5 nbfl with 148 ps here in germany for 2k. Excellent condition, usual rust spots. However, in comparison to you ami guys, the rims here cost a FORTUNE! Deep dish is so expensive and hard to come by, due to tuv regulations. I am not sure if I want a cheap car but expensive mods.
Alright bet first things first gotta find a Miata that isn’t being sold as the same price as house or is nothing but a engine a door a taillight and the damn pop up headlights
Bro i calculated how much id have to spend for my next project ive planned and its depressing audi 80 coupe type 89 with the 5 cylinder engine and quattro (5-8k) the rx widebody kit (3k) or rs2 style front bumper (600€) and id either have to buy a paint booth bc my workshop is too dusty or spend like 3k to get it painted and not to mention all the other stuff like bucket seats, wheel extensions, maybe larger turbo,… and to top it all off id probably have to spend like 1k+ to get it through the german TÜV not to mention the bribes id have to give to the guy doing the checks😂 i just wanna die😂
Remember when you could still get a miata for 2k? Ahh the good ol days, my nb costed me 10k Canadian a few years back but she was in perfect condition never fucked with un modified, of course I already pit it on skunk2 coils and ordered some Konig rewinds for her
Sorry man that a basic Miata build nothing show car worthy. Maybe if not everyone and their mother had kbd, but that’s the weakest body kit. And then the rep wheels😂😂😂😂 maybe if it was a panthos kit you can get away with that😂😂😂
Three years ago bought my 91 with 69xxxx miles mint condition Manuel and had few cosmetic upgrades lowered on bc coils with aftermarket rims and Toyo tires on got it for six thousand now this car is probably worth 12-13 all the upgrades and things I’ve replaced on it I’ve spent about that much really fixing it up right so there’s no point for me to sale and break even. This would have been possible 3-4 years ago the cheapest I’ve found them lately that are barely decent not all banged up going for about 4-5 thousand.
The 1st thing I would do on every car is get rebuild the entire suspension parts and get front/rear end, motor mounts, all belts and hoses, rebuild and bore out the motor along with full tune up even radiator flush and transmission or gear oil flush or changed, get all your air filters, exhaust from headers back always skip the catalytic converter since it makes your car run like 💩, and then get into turbo or supercharger but if you're like me you have both turbo and supercharger (Tandem Charged), wheels/tires, then get airbags or adjustable coilovers, slam and camber it, and last but not the very last get some Lowglow brand underglows
That’s stupid. Who buys a car and the first thing they do is make it look pretty? I’m slapping on a turbo and ripping the ebrake. My shop turns into a body shop if I crash
