Hey thanks! To start tufting you would need Tools: tufting frame, tufting gun, trimmer (maybe even a couple of them, depends on the result you want to achieve), scissors, threader, possibly projector, possibly safety gear, marker and a glue gun. Materials: primary cloth (the cloth that you will be putting a yarn into), backing cloth, hot glue, spray glue (helps a lot), main glue, yarn. You can also get a lot of additional tools & materials, materials that make the work easier, like big trimmer machine, special scissors, backing tape, yarn winder, etc. As for the skills, it is really hard to tell. At least, you would need to know how to use all the tools above basically, so tufting, shaving, carving, glueing. And if you want to make business out of it, probably a lot of practice to deliver a good result, at least accounts in social networks (maybe a website) and example of your works (good pictures and videos). This is quite short, but I think this gives at least some idea on what is needed
