Hi! Thanks so much ! This is very helpful. Would you be able to do a Startup video for someone who is just starting out that has no gym or equipment to start out?
I run only Semi private coaching (4-5) here at my place in Sweden but we have about 35k per year before tax in Sweden, after tax you have about 2k-2.5k left per month. So my prices ranges between 150 to 220 dollar per month depending on 2 or 3 sessions per week. I still make more than your average 1 on 1 coaching session here in Sweden. I have a good programming strategy that makes my life easier. Clients are only able to cancel 1-2 sessions per month. This makes it doable. I have a very low drop-off of clients since I keep my prices reasonable. Have in mind, gym membership here is around 30 per month. A 1 on1 session here is 60 per hour.
Great video thanks! With the 2x/week semi-private model, how do you implement/schedule that? Would it be like a group of 4 people that meet 8am MWF? Then maybe a T,TH,SA for another group at 8am? Or do you allow people to move around times and have the same workout offered multiple times everyday and the client chooses any of the times 3 sessions that works best for their schedule? So they could maybe do a M,T,F but not 'repeat' a workout? f you allow the clients to choose their time is it a first come first serve? Thanks!
It’s based on the clients preference and coaches availability. If they’re doing 2x a week we’d have at least a day in between but many times two. So it could be a Mon/Thur, Tue/Fri, Wed/Sat, Tue/Sat, etc. The most important part is that the client can stick to the schedule. Semi private allows for them to move around if they can’t make a specific time for some reason, as they have their own program and can come in at another time and execute it with a different coach.
He's showing you the system he implements at his gym for small group and semi-private coaching. The idea is efficiency and scalability. If you only train one on one and don't care for group sessions, this still makes you aware of what you're competing with. Hope it helps you. I found this video incredibly valuable.
