This was my first attempt at doing a smooth stucco finish on a concrete block wall. I'll take you step by step from building the footing to the final-colored Stucco coat. I learned a few things doing this that I will share with you.
It’s a very nice job, but applying color to cement is a hassle and many times comes out with different shades. If it cracks or a piece comes off you will not be able to match the same color ever. I prefer to stucco smoothly, apply a primer and paint avoiding work hassles with color added to cement.
It was the first time for me to use color in stucco, definitely a learning process. I do like the look of it other than it is much lighter than the sample. Thanks for the comment
