Taking the owl at the end of round 3 for a forest double play would have been perfect since it hit both bonus cards. This was still very well played and impressive!
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If you’d taken and played the Hooded Merganser to double your Kookaburra you could have also played the Common Grackle that you tossed, which would have completed your wetland pretty early, giving you five points, 1-2 foods, and 2 extra cards per activation. Having that all down before the end of round 2 could have been pretty powerful. I think you might have had enough food to play birds to keep your egg-layers from filling up.
Australian here. It's cook-a-BURRA, where the U is pronounced like in rug, not boo. I love the channel though some of the pronunciations differ from what I thought they were, but this one irks me. :) (also, eem-you, not em-moo, but this is a general thing)
7:17 what is bro yapping about? Starling and collared dove are pretty much the same bird, I don’t see why you want to grab one to discard the other one? And if you use your kookaburra food to tuck you don’t have any food left to play birds to keep the eggs of your bushtit. Also surprised hooded merganser wasn’t mentioned, would have been great with kookaburra or even if you could pick up something like pinguïn or black noddy later on
30:55 you take the rodent in this case? To play what? Not to play the kinglet in the end that’s for sure. That rodent remains unused till the end while you could have taken the grub, i don’t think you even realized this at 35:33, could have saved you some calculations there 😆
@@tuckNcache yeah that’s interesting. I find it sometimes hard to follow your reasoning, maybe you can take the viewer a little more through what’s going on in your head and why you make certain choices during the game. I’d love seeing you improve every video
