I’ve worked in both commercial and residential construction for the last 28 years. I can attest that the building methods here rival, or best, most traditionally site built homes in the typical residential industry. The craftsmanship is FAR BETTER than tract builders…it is comparable to custom built homes on a slab or crawl space foundation. Visit a tract home builder and you will see out of plumb walls…windows that are askew and rely on shims to make the windows “fit the opening”..roof to wall connections with gaps stuffed with sealant/caulking. For anyone believing these are fancy “mobile homes” ..they are NOT... These literally are site built homes on a mobile foundation. Absolutely beautiful as well. TruForm will be my builder for my tiny home when I’m ready to build in 2024. ♥
This must be the most well designed tiny home I've ever seen... I would happily live here!!! Downstairs bedroom, roomy lounge area, excellent kitchen, bathroom and storage. And so much light! Magnificent 😍
I love your emphasis on beauty and craftsmanship! And when Malia made the connection to what she and Jen do to pottery, I knew that their philosophy matches mine. I will definitely put you guys into my possible Tiny Home builders if I decide that Tiny Home living is for me.
Ahhh this is seriously my dream....just amazing!!! I hope I could be a customer of theirs someday. Such a talented and skilled power couple, amazing homes!!!
Things are about the prettiest ones and the most functional that I've seen yet and I've looked at a lot you guys has proved that tiny houses don't have to look like a box and all the same! Just fantastic.
You guys are such amazing film makers! We were so honored to spend this time with you (sorry I don't personally have your contact information). All the work you do in this movement is so inspiring. I am such a fan - like I said to you on your visit - your work has influenced what we do. Thank you so much for thinking of us for this project and for what you do for this way of living. This movement is so fulfilling to be a part of. The tiny home community, and our customers are the best people. I hope we get to cross paths more in the future! With Love - Malia
I absolutely love this couple and their vision with TH’S. Each home is extremely nice inside and out. Thank you for sharing just how you all bring these homes together.🙏🏻♥️🏠
This company sure has a great selections of diffrent layouts and designs wish they were here in Ontario Id deffinantly be going with tem for my tiny. they are all gorgeouse.
Oh wow. Love their end product, love their business set up (such flow), love how they work together seamlessly and complementarily. Think I know who I would go to to design and build my tiny, if I were stateside. Shame I'm in UK and will probably have to self-build. Ooh, maybe they have an online "Consultancy" side in the business in the pipeline!
These tiny homes are gorgeous but... I'm not paying 100k for 200 square feet when I can buy a house. I do not understand the concept of wanting this unless your wealthy and want to travel. However bravo on the designs absolutely beautiful!!!! I couldn't afford it tho.
It's a real beauty! TruForm Tiny's Cascade Max is on the high-end, starting at $186k, but they also have other models with downstairs bedrooms for much less
@@TinyHouseExpedition Beautiful homes they're just super expensive. It's a shame they build them in such an expensive state as they could be built for a lot less in some other states.
@@malzimus they more high end for sure, but do have models staring at $75k which is a common price. Not sure how much more expensive building materials are compared to other states, but the shop space likely is more than some states. 🤔
One little girl you should be proud of yourself your taste is excellent from floor plan to color your kitchens are the best I've seen in smaller homes I would imagine most of the design and other homes for kitchens or people that has never cooked in a kitchen, therefore their signs aren't functional. Thank you! well belt ,out of the ordinary design, w e l l functional and find materials.. I can't give enough praise to your homes!..... need more information where you located and how to reach you by phone. T y
Good question! Not sure if they do, but they do have several with 2 bedrooms (up & downstairs) & could probably make one of those reverse living space. 🤔 And they do fully custom work too. truformtiny.com
I use a walker when I'm out and about but in the house I could maneuver with doorways and heavy Furniture countertops. I'm not totally Dependent on my Walker. I would need a downstairs Bedroom and bath. I love your work. I love all your storage. I'm looking into your business and I think I could afford your homes. I would love the upstairs because my Grandkids and I know my little Great Granddaughter Brooklyn would love to climb into a loft Victoria J Lynch Kenney Plymale
This is the first time I have heard of you guys and your business , your homes are gorgeous . The last home on the video, what was the cost of that home.
Hi Larry, happy to introduce you to great folks at TruForm Tiny! The Cascade Max model is one of their most high end homes and is priced around $186k: truformtiny.com/tiny-home-park-models/
@@lisasoar8448 False equivalency, a full size house built to that quality would run up into the millions for apples to apples. Houses don't all cost the same price!
@@ZeoCyberG No, these tiny homes ARE becoming more expensive. You could buy a house for that money. Would it be as nice? Maybe, maybe not; however, tiny homes don't appreciate the same way regular homes do. Tiny homes are supposed to be an affordable alternative.
I Would love to know how much it would roughly cost for a two bedroom one up loft style and one down 2 baths with a urban and country look Looking to buy in February
Do you have many tall people? I'm 5'10 hubby 6'5. I'm having a real hard time even trying to convince him that it could work for us. What is the lowest price and what is the size? Just looking at a starting block. Thank you #Michigan
Im a carpenter for Truform and I'm 6'5" as well. I'd say it's comfortable for me in our tiny's 99% of the time and that's while working. So for day-to-day living, not sticking your head in every nook and cranny, would be no problem at all at that height.
These are beautifully designed. I do have to say looking at all these "tiny" homes, kind of lost the plot. These aren't true to the original tiny house idea. Kind of becomes Mcmansion. Like I said beautiful, but All these new tiny homes aren't tiny, also meant to bs able to live self contained eco friendly. Thanks for the lovely tour.
I wondered the same as I'd like to do a mock up of the small cabin we're building, would make designing/placing stuff a lot easier I think. I've tried a couple of free apps but haven't been too happy with them.
@@malzimus I've used Sketch-Up for years and I love the program, it gives a great 3d visual understanding of interior spaces but the program in this video seems to be more precise and better suited for tiny home mock-ups. I get the sense that these renderings could be used as straight-up blueprints.
Great question! Not sure but hopefully they’ll pop over here to answer your question. Also check out this new 3D tiny house design program from TinyEasy: www.tinyeasy.co.nz/3d-tiny-house-designer?ref=6&
@@TruFormTiny Thank you for your reply - I'm a SketchUp addict - It's a great problem solving tool - to me it's like a video game that doesn't waste your time - you have something to show for the countless hours you spend on it.
Hi. I just watched the video of a tiny home you did for Beth who placed her home in Oregon. This is what I am looking for and would like to know what the build of the home costs. I know you probably won't post it here but do you have a site that gives pricing? Thank you.
Their website is linked in the description of the video, but here it is again with the information about the model featured in the video! 😁 TruFormTiny: truformtiny.com/tiny-home-park-models/#tve-jump-172860a1140
We haven’t had the pleasure of visiting them yet in TN, but did recently film this adorable home they built: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-naf1OntFGr0.html 😊
