Trust me, it's totally worth the effort to mount the camera on a pan/tilt base in the cockpit and use head tracking. It's like sitting in the jet and you can look around. I have done this with several warbirds and there's no going back!
i mounted my camera on my t28's belly on s pan and tilt mech i designed and printed it has retractable gear and flaps so its super fun, but i have inav on it with osd and rth and everything, you can use old quad fc for inav but i recomend getting a proper wing fc, having battery voltage on the osd is nice lol
