However, in this specific video I’m referencing how important it is to find your NICHE!! Ex: If you like wigs, you enjoy doing installs and color transformations. Why focus and offer to do a braiding service? Just because you’re starting out? No. Lean more towards what you ENJOY doing and MASTER IT! You can for sure master multiple things but don’t spread yourself too thin so that way every service is consistent and every client is receiving the same quality of service. Having more services to choose from doesn’t equal MORE money! 💡🥰

Thank you for this video, I’ve been licensed since 2016 but this December I decided to dedicate my all to my craft. Doing hair doesn’t feel like work to me, I’m also a medical assistant and during Covid it ran me into the ground, I was no longer happy to go to work anymore. This video gave me so much more confidence being back in the industry and gave me the boost I needed to continue to keep going

Whatever it is you’re wanting to specialize in, look up some stylist who master in those services. Turn your notifications on for when they post and just stay updated with them.
