Sorry for the delay on this episode, but we are just coming out of Winter here in Australia, and the painting conditions only just got good now. In today's episode, I show you a few things I have built and finished and I am going to show you how I paint this Avio Huracan body, everything from masking up the stripes to all the steps involved to paint this big model. I hope you all appreciate this video, it took many, many hours to film and also edit, and this is the longest video I have ever uploaded to RU-vid. Enjoy!

i like u take the inspiration paint from the Huracan Avio..it also pretty rare huracan and u the first one i see make the Avio look on regular huracan diecast..Nice work bro..

Excellent paintwork as always. Out of all the die cast custom builders I believe Rob has the painting ability we can all envy. That clear just goes beyond what the modeling standards can accomplish. When you want an automotive finish you definitely need the automotive touch.

Lamborghini started making cars in 1963 that's what the L63 means, they previously made farm tractors and they still do but with a V12 or a V10 engine

Excellent work thinking of doing a 1/8 Pocher Lamborghini Aventador as thinking of getting a yellow one and striping the paint and airbrushing it candy blue with tamiya lacquer paint , plus I don't like their paint finishes obviously I'd planned to just primer and repaint the coloured plastic parts ... But I'm a bit nervous as they are not cheap, any advice on the striping would be appreciated...cheers

the big "argument" between Lamborghini and Ferrari was that his tractor's clutches and transmisions bettered what Ferrari offered in the '60s

Just wondering, another scale modeling RU-vidr mentioned he applies decal softener to decals to get them to sit flatter and to prevent lifting. What’s your take on this and is it necessary or recommended?

I know that Microscale has a softener and setting solution but personally I don't use them. I only just apply the setting solution on top of the decal after it has been positioned and I always clear coat over my decals anyway, so I will never have any lifting problems.

40 degrees Celsius? I could just set those tires outside for a couple minutes. yesterday it hit 109 degrees Fahrenheit, or almost 43 degrees Celsius where I live lol
