I really struggle when I lose momentum. Feel like I'm against a wall of defenders and there's no way through. My strikers stand next to them on edge of the box and if I pass to them the defender just runs into them before I can move and takes the ball. I don't have massive speed so I can't just run around them down the sideline as well. Honestly I've started just passing back to my fullbacks so their defense moves out of the box and thins, letting me build up through the middle properly and get a ball in.

In this specific video tactics are the same as in your youtube video, but here u put fullbacks on balance right? is putellas or pele on stay back cover center? When u put zidane is It the same? (Usually one of the cm is on step back cover center as the CDM and the opposite winger is on come back on def)

3:14 in 4321 the wingers don’t hug sideline cuz they are cfs in 442 with lm rm or any formation with Lw rw they will hug the sideline

Hug sideline is fine but it leaves so much gap btwn your fullback and center back when defending counters

I have a question for you since I am a 4321 user but would like to implement other formations and 442 is the one I am thinking of since I struggle a lot against it. How do you defend when using it? I know this may sound stipid but the 4321 seems to be more compact while the LM and RM in the 442 are very static when coming back on defense. Would you be so kind to explain how to make it work?

Grymt! Man lär så mkt. Jag är fast på div 4 i Rivals. Kommer inte längre, jag gör mitt bästa men utvecklas inte. Största problemet är hur motståndaren pressar högt hela 90 min av matchen och jag sällan kommer till motsåndarens planhalva. Förstår inte hur man spelar sig igenom eller försvarar mot dennes kontringar av 5-6 spelare som springer konstant i djupled.
