Tht is great really good ideas on measuring and attaching the screws, very little waste GOOD THINKING !!! yes time consuming but anything built well takes time!
Thanks! I agree 100%. Unless it’s an emergency, there’s no need to rush through and “just get it done”. I’d rather take my time and feel satisfied with the results.
I’m more afraid of the metal jack stands 😂. The wooden ones are stout and much more stable. Just give the car a good shake back and forth, and then tell yourself “That ain’t goin’ nowhere.” 😂

This is a great video! I'm getting ready to replace the pinion seal on my 71 Camaro and want to make these to lift the car. I have jack stands but would feel better having the car sit on these as well. Can you tell me what number screw you used, 8, 10, 12? Thanks
Those are wooden jack stands.... horrible idea but I've seen plenty of bigger trucks use them to elevate the jack stand on a lifted rig; they also can give a platform for a hi jack or jack stand when off road.
