Weird being one of those guys now but: Niche Zero has made me happy. Minimal space, one grinder for everything with Excellent consistency, quality fluffy grinds and so Quiet! Minimal mess/ waste/ maintenance coupled with unparalleled ease of dialing in, as well as the cleaning couldn't be easier. The only thing that comes to mind that really compares for Simplicity and low-waste would be the Lagom Mini and similar / clone grinders but none of them are nearly as robust or capable as the Zero. It took me a couple years of convincing to spend that kind of money but I was looking more endgame for traditional espresso and the occasional pour-over and didn't want to make coffee a burden with all the retention, excessive static, cleaning schedule for Quality output that flat burrs require, purging... I was heading for a lower grade Grinder like a Breville Smart Grinder Pro that is prone to clumping even though it puts out a uniform grind... all that said, just trying to add that to the conversation if anyone is curious. Thanks for the content Pedro

Have the Eureka Atom 60 in Hulk Green, it’s epic grinder, super quiet and quick, nice fluffy coffee, it’s paired up with Bambino 😬due to limited budget, currently waiting for gear from Pesado 58.5 hopefully 🤞 it will work out, lots to learn for sure

Fiorenzato All Ground paired with a Linea Mini is my current home setup for two people. Works great grinding roughly through 150g a day

75g per person per day! Serious coffee household. Is that 4x 18g shots?

I have been using a La Marzocco GS3 MP for the past 11 years. I have found that the better the grinder, the better my shots are. I went from a Mazzer to a Macap and the flavor was dramatically improved. My Macap is having some issues with Jamming on smaller beans, so I am in the market for the very best grinder I can find. Price is not my major concern, but absolute quality is.

If money was no object, I’d buy the Weber EG-1 which imo is the best grinder in the world but that price tag means I’ll never have one haha

@@seancole22 Thank you for the suggestion. It is expensive, but what I am expecting to pay for and outstanding piece of equipment. I have been saving over $20 per day by making our own coffee for 11 years. By my calculations, that is nearly $80,000 saved. $4,000 for a grinder is a good value in my world. Some people travel. I sit at home, savor a delicious espresso and read a good book. I couldn’t afford it when I was younger, but now is the time to get silly.

I have bought a mazzer super jolly for home and have used it for the past 8-9 years. Is it worthwhile swapping to a timore sculptor 064s or a df64? It seems like more of a sidegrade tbh, but it would look nicer on the bench??

Eureka Mignon Manuelle to an XL for milk based coffee leaving aside the looks and time grinding, worth the upgrade?

Thank you for the video! You mentioned the Sculptor 78s, it sounds like you are happy with it for filter coffee, even if it isn't perhaps as good as the 078 for pour over? Looking forward to receiving a 78s myself some day soon.

Found this video interesting as am currently in the market to upgrade my Breville Smart Grinder Pro to something with a little more class, (I.e. Italian made) that produces better results with less retention etc, so currently torn between Eureka Mignon XL 65 and Fiorenzato all-ground. I also haven’t completely ruled out single-dose grinders yet, but work-flow is kinda daunting with the limited time I have to make coffee in the morning before needing to leave for work.

I wish the Eureka Libre was built on the same platform that the Eureka Minion XL or Eureka Minion One Shot was and then it would be the GOAT even if it was $400 more then it is now.
