HI Desmond and thanks. In my humble opinion, if you're buying one of the first and most important processes is the search. If you're not happy with the sellers valuation, feel free to conduct your own but it would be at your expense. My advice is to get good legal council.

The buyer would have to organise their own inspection at their own expense. The more intensive and professional equates to more expense

That totally depends on what you're looking for. I stayed in Fairways in Maraval once, lovely area but no people on the road, absolutely no community vibe.

North west... maybe east

There are many beautiful places to live in Trinidad. It depends on what you are looking for, how much money you have and your lifestyle and what type of neighborhood would appeal to you. Some people like the West nearer to POS. Some like the South. Some like Central. There are beautiful areas all over. Do you want to sit on a highway for hours to get to work and live far from the cities? Maraval, St. Clair, St. Ann's, Cascade, Petit Valley, Bayshore, Goodwood Park, West Moorings, etc., are nice areas when considering if you want to live in the suburbs of Port of Spain. There are many other nice areas along the Eastern corridor, in the central part of Trinidad and the South. You have to choose what suits you best.

If you're applying for a mortgage then yes

Those homes don't include appliances, light fixtures. No central air/,heat. No garage etc.
