Videos like this encourage me to avoid the negativity and work towards stop being an ass online to people just because they bash me for disagreeing with them. I am also going to approach my LCS with these ideas because I don't want to lose them! Thanks for another epic video!

Thanks for this information fellas, very useful - keep it up! I’ve been thinking about getting involved with the IG comic community and this definitely helps. My LCS is doing FB Live shows several times a week where they offer books, lots, trades, etc. for sale and the attendees get to claim stuff for asking price or haggle a bit with the LCS on price if something doesn’t get claimed right away. They are fun to participate in and I’ve picked up some pretty cool books!

Torpedo is a bit pricey. Their vip membership is where it’s at tho. At least before this whole pandemic. 200 bucks a year. I met/spoke and had books signed by Frank Miller, Adi Granov, Adam Hughes, J Scott Campbell, and Jim Lee. All within the year. Straight to CGC too

I've always been leary of FB...I have accounts, but there's a lot of negativity. I'll try it out...right now, I'm more interested in positive engagement than boosting my sales. You guys are awesome - thanks!

I hear ya, Doc. Here's what I did after being on FB for over 10 yrs: I cleared my friends list to ZERO and only participated in my groups. Slowly many of my FB friends sent me a "Hey, what the hell happened?" messages and I added them back. I find keeping the number under 100 really cuts down on the BS and drama.

I’m in so many Facebook groups and really enjoy them. Nearly finished collecting all of my Marv Wolfman Deathstroke 60 issue run.. And they are a good way just to meet people too.

Do you suggest creating separate IG and FB accounts specifically for these purposes? I have personal accounts and already follow some artists I like as well as the buying and selling hashtags on IG with those.

Question for the comic fam.... on IG, I dont have an option to select PayPal or a credit card once I click Payments in the settings. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a solution/work around?
