Thank you so much for making this extremely helpful video! I have trouble reading and got lost at step 9 and the AES exemption section. Thank you so much for making this video!

Helloo from Singapore! Really great video. I have a question. Am sending sending a package from Singapore to the States to get trading cards autographed to be mailed with a self addressed prepaid envelope for return delivery. I am stuck at the shipping date as I do not know when exactly it will be mailed back. Any clue?
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Every time I attempt to ship something internationally it says the format is wrong. I’ll go to put in the address, but when it comes to the “State” part, obviously that wouldn’t always apply. It forces me to pick a state before I can proceed. But I’m not trying to ship within the country. I’ve been trying to figure it out for months and no one can help
This was extremely helpful, i cannot thank you enough. I was very confused on where to put the 4 customs forms since my postage was on them as well. Inserted them in a clear pouch on the box, hopefully it works.
Hey there, thanks for this helpful video! I still have a couple of questions: I have moved abroad and left stuff I would like to ship to myself with a friend. The boxes are too heavy for her to carry, so I would like to schedule a pickup during my click-n-ship order, but I am trying to figure out the easiest way to get together all of the papers that she will need to attach, since she will not be able to bring these boxes to the post office and get assistance from workers there. I guess she will need some of those special PS form 2976-E envelopes, so I ordered some of those sent to her from the USPS store. So my first question is about how to print the shipping label - does any of it need to be on sticky label paper, or can it just all be on normal paper and stuck into that envelope? Do the papers really need to be trimmed down to size? Do normal letter-sized papers not fit in that envelope? And then what should I ask her to do with the envelope? Just tape it onto the side of the box somewhere? Is the destination address going to be somehow visible through an opening in the envelope? Sorry for all of these questions, but this part is kind of confusing for me, and I want to make things as easy as possible for my friend. Also, I think it's only possible to schedule a pickup a maximum of three days in advance, so there is a little time pressure to figure out these labels, especially when we are on other sides of the globe in totally opposite time zones. Lastly I would like to ask your advice about whether to mark my shipment as a "gift" or as "other", since I am mailing my own stuff to myself. What do you think makes most sense for that? Thank you! :)
That’s exciting that you moved abroad! To answer your questions: -The labels don’t have to be on sticky label paper. They’ll all be going into the envelope. According to the dimensions of the envelope that you can order online (10 1/4” L, 7 1/4” W), you probably don’t have to do a lot of trimming. Before printing, double check the dimensions of the labels and adjust the size accordingly. -The envelope should have an adhesive on it, so you should be able to stick it on the top of the box. If not, I’d tape down the edges that don’t have an opening (though, I’d tape it down regardless for good measure). Also the envelope is clear so they should be able to see the info. (If you scroll down on this website on international shipping, you’ll see how the customs envelope on the package looks: bit.ly/3Df8NqC) -And it’s going to you, so I think it’d be fine to mark it as a gift. You may or may not have to pay the customs duties, taxes or fees depending on the value of all the contents and what they are. When it comes down to it, the country it’s being shipped to determines that. Hope these answers help! Let us know if you have any other questions and we’ll try our best to answer :)
@@InnominateKraken, yes that is so, so helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to answer all of my questions! I appreciate it so much. Greetings from Finland!
Thanks for the tutorial. Does this create both the label and the customs form? The USPS website has a separate page for the customs form, this keeps confusing me...
Hello! I have a question. Does the tracking number stop when it hits customs in the destination country? Or will it continue on to the delivery to the recipient’s door step?! USPS told me “there is no way to track it after customs” but I didn’t trust them because they already seemed confused by all the click n ship customs forms I had and took some time to figure out what to do with my package lol. I’m just praying my package makes it.
You can track your package with a universal parcel tracking website (bit.ly/3WARcRv). It should show you the USPS shipping activity and then whatever international carrier it goes to.
Hello, Question, which return address should I enter when I am trying to buy an international return prepaid shipping label? Because I want my buyer to send the item back to me. Thank you.
I'm not quite sure if USPS offers prepaid international return shipping labels. But according to this website you can use Fedex, UPS or DHL instead: bit.ly/3RfyjBh
Is there anyway I can print my international label from home and schedule for USPS to pick the package up? I’m disabled & can’t drive. I’ve had USPS pick up my packages for USA shipments. . My package is going to Canada.
To give the same answer so other people can see it on this video: Just to make sure, I just logged into Click-N-Ship selected a country, put in an address and package info for a First Class International package and got the option to select that service. Once you select a country, there should no longer be any info boxes for state and city. I'm not sure why the website is doing that for you, but when I pick a country, it never shows state and city. It might be a glitch on your end.
I know this video is from 7 months ago but can I drop off a priority mail padded flat rate envelope at a blue collection box when it’s going to be shipped internationally?
You'd need a clear packing pouch/envelope to put them in and then tape that to your package. I usually just go to the post office, wait in line and then the cashier would put it in something for me and attach it to my package.
You can purchase adhesive labelsfor your printer that fit the USPS Click’n’Ship app... print them out, peel off the backing and stick them on your package... See here: www.amazon.com/s?k=click+n+ship+labels+usps&crid=1Z09F5ZBXMYJV&sprefix=click+n+ship%2Caps%2C87&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_12
@@brucelucas1068 I have some clear adhesive pouches from UPS where I can put all labels. Can I put each label in 3 different pouches and stick them on each sides of my box?
Here we explain how you can access your label: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J5RnQscvVWs.htmlsi=U0VLQKPlZYS5yEJA&t=20 After you find it, click the check box for it and they’ll have different options you can choose from including printing it out again.
