Why would you have 2 of the 24xds on your boat?

I like having one gps puck mounted at the stern above my GT56 transducer and one at the bow. I mark waypoints at the console with the stern puck and bow graphs with the bow puck. Doing it this way makes waypoints more accurate since the boat is 20 ft long. Not much of a difference in price between the 24xd with heading sensor and buying one without heading sensor. I figured if something goes wrong with one of my heading sensors I have backup. Thanks for watching and commenting on my video.

I have the 24xd right over my stern 56 transducer. I have both my console units using the 24xd and the front units use the internal gps because I rarely mark points from the front of the boat but it's accurate enough to do so. The 24xd gets me somewhere around 3ft accuracy and the internal units somewhere between 8-15 on average.
