Can't see where he's cutting.....his hands or the foliage is in the way to see precisely where to cut.

Thanks for the tip. I bought 4 of these dianthus a week ago. I didn't realize they were in the same category as carnations. I love carnations! I guess that's why I was attracted to these dianthus in the garden center store.

Some of mine didn't get dead headed so now I have seeds :) My milkweeds tower over them right now but in spring they shine :)

@@GardeningforBeginners they are perennial plants so ya next year no second flush but i have some seeds :) going to collect when they dry out today or tomorrow
