I need to try the pinching the potatoes thing. I usually cover them with dirt as they start taking on growth, but I'm thinking if I do what you're doing that I'll get new growth too.

Thank you so much!!!! I should dry adding more dirt to mine too. I get so frustrated with them getting so tall and blocking out the plants next to them

I have a watermelon vine growing up one of my trellis. It has a watermelon on it that seems to get bigger over night, I’m hoping that it’s high enough off of the ground so the groundhog / other rodents don’t find it and make it their food source or just taking one bite out of it. 🤞🏻 I bought some mesh bags to protect my fruit from the critters but now I can’t find them. 🥺🌺💚🙃

I have my banana tree in a pot on my deck and this one gray squirrel likes to jump on it and chew on the leaves, it’s shredding the leaves with its claws and taking bites out of it making it look horrible 😡 if my husband didn’t like watching the squirrels so much I might take drastic measures to rid our yard of the hateful creatures. For several years it’s only been the one squirrel now there’s at least four of them, a black, a red and several gray squirrels, I’m not sure how they get along but they do, I always thought that red squirrels and gray squirrels hated each other ? 🌺💚🙃
