Ok do the same guys with engadze supps. Win lane is so easy but how to carry in late when ure adc is so bad at positioning, mid feeds, top feeds, jung 0 objectives and feeds, u try to shot call but ure team ignores u(with engadze supp)??????????????
I think he's really really good at support, probably your strongest overall contributor right now, and much better than Mcbaze or even Hector support videos.
well the game starts 00:00 so thats why everbody is a late warder and keeps it till the 10th minute or something...but if you ask why its bla bla bla i'm delusional and i don't care bla bla bla bla
honestly, I think people underestimate the amount of damage a janna can output early game, she can easily poke out and secure a kill by lvl 2-3 ish if she has ignite
Speaking of supports whoose damage gets underestimated: If you're a half-health ADC and you see a full health Leona by herself and your support is dead, run. Leona can and will get that kill. Don't even think about engaging. I mean I like it when you do because I'm the Leona, but especially in earlygame Leona does far from no damage. Also she is very tanky and keep in mind you will be stunned for half the fight, therefore not doing damage. Oh and ignite is a thing.
hmm... wanted to see how to handle as enchanters against same range or higher range enemy + high engage supp (like thresh, pyke)... being enchanter with Caitlyn against ezreal isn't my worst nightmare
@@iFParasit They give full game explanation if you buy their service, they obviously won't give everything or they won't earn money. This video is still more than enough to win laning phase
@@abdusselamzahma7474 I think most people know how to win laning phase and the most frustrating thing for supports/adc is winning laning phase and still losing the game... Kind of wish they would've shown maybe a game where they lost laning phase to show what they did wrong or maybe even where they lost lane but won the game thanks to doing stuff as the support. There wasn't an example in this video where they had a clearly losing matchup either so the vid just feels pointless to watch almost.
@@darkdemon9013 stop complaining about not showing late game, there are PLENTY of yt videos and channels showcasing that even if all lanes lose, playing all different roles... Ffs... Just learn doing it yourself! This gane is ten years old, you find ANYTHING YOU NEED on yt, but skill and consistent mindset to carry you can find only by playing the game yourselves!
It's not just about the cs gap itself, but it's what it implies about the lane opponent. In this situation the enemy had to take a terrible recall, not just losing out on cs from last hitting, but most importantly they lose the xp that sets them behind in lane. Being behind in cs is fine if you have to in order to survive, but xp not so much.
I think it's funny that they say the teammate is bad. The ADC in each instance actually put down the damage. It's frustrating when you play enchanter and the ADC stays back and just farms even with your pressure.
@@chillnthrill3276 Youre exacly speaking out of my mind. Thats why many supporters often stay their adc is bad. The same with engage sups. Your engange doesnt do shit when your adc just stays back and farm the wave safely. If you got lane priority then you should always move up because if not and the support engages, youre still far back and maybe put down the damage for 2 autos or something, which is really much, especially in the erly game
ChillnThrill Honestly a better example would’ve been if they used a scaling adc as opposed to champs like Caitlin or Draven who have objectively strong laning phases
@@Siimon0803 If I consider the support trade/engage to be braindead I will just ping him back and keep managing waves. It's not my business as ADC to get involved into coinflip support shenanigans and that's because maintaining high health on ADC early on is way more valuable than it is on support anyways (a low health adc cannot farm which leads to not being able to contest the waves which in turn creates a pressure point for their jg+mid on the botside of the map).
Please make a guide specifically covering Enchanter/Senna vs Engage supports. I feel like it would help many people because engage vs enchanter probably has common missions to follow through. So it would help low elo players like us to know what to really think when a match up like this happens.
You need to abuse Senna's strong poke and play it out as a poke lane. A lot of enchanters have good early poke e.g. Nami, Janna, Lulu, Seraphine, and most engage supports are melee, so you play it as a ranged vs melee matchup. You need to try to harass as much as possible pre level 2 when they can all in or play around their major cooldowns. One way to make it easier is to control the wave effectively by shoving them in. because it makes it more difficult for them to land important skillshots or trading back, because minions do a lot of damage early game. So try to slow build waves and use the big wave to poke the enemy down.
@@Kamishi845 Thanks for the tips and all but I got this all figured out and managed to climb. Though I quit support and became an adc main. Still thanks bro.
Yea, considering he was smurfing in Gold, most people can last hit/ understand basic trading. If he wants to carry a bad team, he should be diving a little deeper into low elo.
@@pthfndr6599 that makes sense in theory and then you get a teammate that afks at min 20 cause he had something come up, next time you get someone that ragequits, next game you have a jg that's having connection problems. just try playing supp in low elo soloq it's just how this game is
@@zhizhao7915 @zzephr mm I disagree with this for several reasons. People are often duo smurfing in low elo games and it's hard for actual low elo players to successfully navigate and control the situation, frequently leading to rage quits and inting and griefing. I don't think there's much to do against this kind of thing because if there's a fed enemy jax or camille or udyr etc 10 minutes into the game and your top laner is afk because the jungler didn't help, and you're all the way in bot lane, you can't exactly stop it easily. I climbed up from bronze to diamond and I've lost games with 40 assists, 80% kill participation, what have you very often. Even in situations I get people fed, the game is up to them, not me. If the 15-0 adc I invest in disconnects, it's over. Maybe for other roles what you say is true, but I'm not feeling that. Is it impossible to climb despite, if you're good enough? No, as I said I did climb quite far from where I started out so it's possible. But it took me years despite my skill level staying relatively the same because so many games were simply impossible for me to turn around. I don't think people who say this consider the smurfing and role issues, so I don't agree with that.
The worst player in this wasnt an ally though, it was that kaisa at the end. Not waiting for the mantra q, not letting her naut look to start the fight, not looking to focus draven. Yeesh
This video was not only useful to watch, but reminded me when I almost was in the same situation when I was playing as Nami against a Zyra player (which is one of my most hated supports of all time to play against). In this game, I constantly walk forward and baiting out Zyra's root in level 1. Once I successfully dodged it, I retaliate by using my W on her. Rinse and repeat until she's running out of health potions and thus cannot fight back with half/low health. What I did was playing around the enemy's cooldown (something I didn't took advantage of in the past), before landing my own harass on to them. While Zyra or any other full AP supports have so much burst, they are rather punishable by not having sustain (unless buying a ton of potions), are champions with no escapes and most importantly incredibly squishy. So with this video this let me give further insights of how I should lane as an enchanter like Nami in one of my games. Thank you so much!
Would this apply to Sona and Yuumi as well? Their mana costs are extremely high due to continuous nerfs which makes me feel like harassing is difficult so early into the game.
This can work on Sona, but I'm not sure how well it works with Yuumi since I don't play her. Like he said in the video, you can poke and trade when the adc is going for a minion or out of position so you don't take bad trades. On Sona specifically, her Q reaches through minions and prioritizes enemy champions, so this is easier to do and makes trades pretty easy, and it can conserve mana because it's a positive trade most of the time. Make sure to auto if possible. Also, if you didn't know, her abilities refund mana if an ally champion is inside the passive circle, so if you have mana troubles, be sure to utilize that :) Something I like to do on Sona is level Q as soon as the game loads in and use it twice so you can have your passive auto early, which does quite a bit of damage early and can give a huge advantage in lane. You can do this on the way to lane as well after each recall or while roaming with E to always have a bit more pressure as long as your passive is active.
Yes for Sona, but Yuumi is weird. You should still pressure, but not in a way to get kills. Your job as Yuumi is to keep your laner alive, bot to help them kill. You should try to auto the enemies as often as possible to build your passive shield.
I’d like to see a video on how to climb as squishy support when your ADC doesn’t listen to pings, arrives in lane before you and dies 1 v 2 before you’re even back in lane, doesn’t back off when a gank is happening (dies multiple times), your top laner never joins team fights (and the enemy top laner does), and the lead you helped your ADC get is promptly thrown away in mid game/not used or leveraged properly. That’s what I’d like to know how to deal with. That’s the wall I hit in silver. Had to stop with support and bot lane in general to progress further. Nothing to support when there’s no team.
2 other things to point out 1. Your use of brush to make it easier to dodge enemy skillshots, They have to fire semi-blind, so you can more easily side-step. 2. Your positioning against Naut was across the lane from him, so that you only had to deal with the Kai'Sa in the trade before taking on both of them in the all-in.
At the exact time you guys release this video I was in a Promo game as Sona (supporting an AFK Aphelios) against a Yasuo / Alistar combo. Spooky. (Roamed and helped top / jg get the win...btw)
7:57 Not to mention the fact that Morgana's Q is one of, if not the longest, non-ultimate hard CC ability in the game. The root is 2 seconds at rank 1 and scales up to 3 seconds at rank 5. That's a lot of time for her team to pour damage on to the target with little fear of retaliation or the target getting away.
I only play malph/morg sup in ranked and I always initiate an invade. It’s easy double kills if I land two q’s. I also take exhaust to make sure we get at least one kill in the invade. I don’t find much value in Ignite.
No matter how hard I try I get the worst teams. I am a great player stuck in high silver. No matter my skill or how fed I get, none of it matters. Sometimes I will get lucky with another good teammate, but still rewarded with 3 bad teammates. I'm absolutely done with this game. I honestly want to start recording my games and putting them on youtube to show people just how much this matchmaking loves to match me up with inting annie who is on a 30 game loss streak
I will watch the full games later. Not sure if your definition of "bad" players are the same.😅 I know this is just a summary of early game and getting a lead on your lane. But what can you do if Top, Mid, and JG fall which is more of the case in my experience as a Support main.
"yeah i might me a death adc but you stole my kill, stupid support" what i happen to hear the most if i kill something as a support even if they are very death
Supports aren't always aggressive for you to follow with the attack supports generally bully the enemy adc to prevent them from farming poking or setting up a good gank since enemy adc would be somewhat low
Okay, but what if your solo laners and/or jg fall very behind early? I can help with roams to some extent but the game seems unwinnable when my top goes 0/2 at 5 mins and then leaves the game.
I think that the point of support being a better role the higher you go still applies, gold elo is already significantly better for playing support in order to climb than silver in my opinion. ⬇ What I think is true, and what it means that the higher you go, the role of support gets stronger: If your current rank is "X" and you are trying to reach rank "Y", which is one division higher than your current rank "X", while rank "Y" is your actual skill level, the higher the rank "X" is, the more efficient role support is to reach the rank "Y". ---> It is easier for Diamond lvl support to climb to diamond from platinum, while playing support, than it is for platinum lvl support to climb to platinum from gold, while playing support and so on.... Yes, yes every role can be carried with anything if you are better enough and can top damage charts with Janna, I know, I was a challenger once as well, but I still think that it is an actual struggle for low elo support players to climb. If you are only slightly better support player than you current rank, it will take you much longer to reach your actual rank in comparison to other roles.
Okay, now what about the Caitlin sees that i hit a w and suicide by running into them for no reason? And then she keeps feeding because she doesn't realize the enemy ADC got 3 more items than her?
This was a good video but i think it still doesn't answer the question of how low elo support players can carry for 2 reasons 1) this only addresses the laning phase. the problem with supports in low elo is not that we do not know how to win laning phase. i myself almost always win laning phase with my adc whenever i play support as i understand match ups and the appropriate times to trade. The problem comes when by the time i get my ADC 2/0/0 the rest of my team has successfully fed the enemy kayn 8/0/7 or feed the enemy katarina or garen 6/1/3; i think the important questions here are a) after i win laning phase and my adc has a 2/0 lead on the enemy bot lane how do i deal with the rest of my team's feeding ? or how do i further get my adc ahead vs an enemy kat or kayn with the above kda ? b) how do i carry if my adc throws their lead ? e.g i get my adc 3/0 and the enemy team is behind in gold, then my adc dies twice to the enemy adc, what do i do at that point in game ? c) if my adc can't cs and somehow has the same 20 cs as my enemy laners at 10 minutes DESPITE me as support making the enemy leave lane twice from poke ? 2) I've noticed that whenever skill cap says "low elo" they talk about gold plat and diamond almost exclusively, almost assuming that everyone can carry their teams out of bronze and silver. While yes those are "easier" to escape, they are alot harder to climb out of as support because of problem (1) p.s: when i roam frequently as support when i think it's appropiate ... but idk if i roam at the right points in the matches. If the above is too complicated to address in a video i think it would be much more beneficial to helping supports climb if skill cap creates at least a video about when and where to roam as support to win games, as opposed to how to win lane; because in low elo, unless you are hard smurfing winning lane does not always equal to winning the game
The challenging part for support main is not the laning phase, a good support can easily win bot lane or at least secure it. The difficult part comes to team fights after the laning phase. Most of the time, you'll find your team not listening to pings while making bad decisions, or feeding hard, imagine having a jg 0/11 and mid 0/16 in ten mins and then they go afk, imagine having a eve jg who never ganks early game, and then afk mid game. Another thing is, if the adc is bad, feeding them and giving them gold wont stop them from pussing out from every fights or die with full mana front lane
Yeah, these basics are why I win almost every lane as swain support. Just use your E when the enemy is starting their auto attack animation. It hits waaay more often.
Win lane is so easy but how to carry in late when ure adc is so bad at positioning, mid feeds, top feeds, jung 0 objectives and feeds, u try to shot call but ure team ignores u(with engadze supp)??????????????
dont play an engage support if u win lane and u let the game get to late game uve done something wrong already ur whole midgame is bad... ur ahead u can choose when to fight and make picks pink war ->hide somewhere in the fog of war make a pick -> presure a turret /objective do again
Maybe watch his full commentaries? I mean he has 16 full games and he's probably the strongest skill-capped constributor along with bmxspecks who constantly says useful things
Good guide. I do most of these things in my Elo, but Still lose too many games since my adc dont know how to carry and i dont know how too do it as a support. It is the transition from Lane phase i struggle with. So a guide om how to further control or influence the Map as support would be appreciated.
You make it loos so easy, but I have it so often, that I pressure the Enemy ADC away so hard and my ADC still manage to miss so much CS; that they are even.
Can I get a guide for “How to carry from bot lane after you take the tower and end lane phase 3/0, only to discover outside of your world in bottom lane the enemy top Darius and mid lane Akali are both 7/0”
I can carry my adc during the lane phase no probs, sometimes i roam to other lanes if bot ints too much. I want to know is how i can guide my team through the mid-late game as a support so they dont run 5 mid and i have to follow cause im just a support
Enchanter laning phase I’m going 8-0 but my mid/top is 0-10 by the time I get there. I’m topping damage charts, sometime more than 3 teammates combined but can’t close out games past 25 mins
I wonder if in any of this games, pocket rhino recalled and his adc died, giving away shutdown gold and the game was lost... Giving leads to your teammates is cool, but how do you make sure they dont throw?
@@sebastiansalcu4664 and whar you can do if your adc get greedy for a kill everytime the enemy is low and die under there tower using all his summenors? Even if you win trades and cs, most time the adc throw it away with such greedy tower plays...
Sometimes you both push the wave but the ADC just stands there and refused to recall. Heck, sometimes they even stay without mana and with money in their pockets
@@iFParasit i think in lower elo you get blames by that like "if you dont want to play support, take another role you idiot" or kinda such things if you go ap and take kills, even if you did 95% of the dmg^^
okey this was actually the type of video that I wanted to see because I was wondering what I could do more as a support to somewhat carry my adc and there where few little tricks that will help me a lot so thx.
So, I play enchanters but I'm very confused. Whenever I try to play like that it's always bad trading. I'm very confused as to how you make these decisions
My dream would be to have someone as good of a teacher to constantly mentor me live for a while LMAO 😂... I imagine this guy does it too for a price..as all coaches! Excellent video. The way you talk and explain is beyond perfect.
So how do i carry as soraka when my toplaner goes 0/10 , afk's my jungler doesnt gank, my mid loses lane too and my adc goes for the worst trades and dies spam pinging me for help when if i go to help i die as well. I guess i have to beg riot for a good team or switch roles because support cant carry inters that spam ff
The thing is, the worst that any of your ADCs did was kind of sleep a bit. What do you do as Soraka if before minions spawn your ADC flashes into a 1v5 in the river and dies, then when he's back to lane flames you for his mistake and dies again? . What about your Jinx who for some reason has inspiration and resolve runes and rushes ardent sensor? . What about the KaiSa who overextends into Draven Nautilus at level 1, loses 3/4s of her health and wastes her flash but continues to shove the wave anyway, ignores your pings that the enemy Veigar and Warwick are coming down to gank, and dives the enemy at their tower into a 1v4, then calls you "ritard noob" and AFKs? . What about the Twitch who gets *LITERALLY 8 CS ALL GAME AND THEY WERE ALL FROM STEALING RED BUFF FROM OUR JUNGLER*? . (These are not hypothetical. These are all actual Silver Elo players I encountered in the last month) . When support mains complain about trying to carry bad teammates, we're not usually talking about teammates who are just a bit passive or could have better wave control. In Silver and below more often than not your ADC just straight up hard ints the lane and there is *nothing* you can do about it.
"I was set into gold elo to do this." Stopped the video there. If it's possible, begin at iron/bronze level. Most people at gold elo range will respect macro gameplay.
Amen, the teams/ adcs with supp didn't seem "bad" like in low elo can be....(would've been too aggressive with supp and ended up killed, could've been missing farm too much, leaving lane when supp gets a kill...) this was nothing.
Ik u win the lane in all those examples but how do v carry the lead over to winning the game (in any role not just sup) this is the main problem for me atleast.
"if yall playing sp but ya have more damage then ya entire team then ya just playing mid/Top(Depend on what kind of damage your character does) with extra step" wait why is there gasoline smell
I have 1 question what do I do if I take the kill cuz I didn't epect my inting vayne to flash Q and she trolls cuz of that? happened to me multiple times all the times it was a Vayne
I've been playing in low elo for ever and i've never had an adc go b after crushing a wave in front of the enemy's turret before, what did you tell him? Usually they either overstay because they are afraid they will lose sth or they don't keep track of the enemy jg or they want bf or sth. So.. my point is... What did you tell him? How can i convince them to play with me to make better decisions without them feeling as if i'm scolding them or trying to teach them the game?
Winning lane doesn't mean win games, like i almist every time win lane with senna with 30 cs lead on enemie adc or moaybe more with kills and plating and still inpossible to carry as a support if your jungl is bad doesnt but a sweeper at plat elo (so sad)
