This video shows you how to create one of the best carp fishing spod mix. At Pallatrax we call this a sick mix and is a great technique when spodding for carp. This is an awesome way to create an incredibly effective baiting strategy to draw fish quickly into your swim and to instigate feeding. In this film, you will see Pallatrax's Simon Pomeroy explain the strategy behind his mix of the day and how easy it is to make up and use, as well as explaining why taking the time and making the effort will result in you catching more fish.
Simon uses Pallatrax's Jungle, Peanut and Tigernut flavour on a Yellow Seed base mix, and Multiworm, containing mixed worms; Silkworm, Mealworm and Earthworm on a Fishmeal base mix, which he then adds a cooked particle and hemp combination along with his companies Carp Crush Method/Groundbait mix. This sticky mix is full of the nutrients and protein and it really shouldn't be a surprise that once the fish locate it, they're on it!
Once put together the angler has a devastating and powerful attractant laden mix which you can either Spomb or easy ball or catapult out. As soon as the mix hits your swim it starts working by using the attractants within to reach out far and wide allowing your quarry, from carp to barbel and everything in between, to scent and then find your baited area. Using only the best ingredients and a design that has been proven time and time again to help anglers to increase their results it is a brilliant tactic.
