I’ve always been taught to take off the black negative battery cable first not the red positive cable. Learned this in a few mechanic courses and books. What do you think?
I've got a question for you. Does that pigtail have 3 wires or 2? See, i needed a new pigtail, which comes with 3, but my old one had 2. My new alternator has 3 pins, and the middle one is supposedly the voltage regulator, but I've got nowhere for that middle wire to go to.
