How to change a belt on Kia Sephia 2000 

Without a doubt the most explicitly detailed video ive seen on a proper step by step timing belt replacement tutorial! Thumbs up !

I watched this video years ago when i had a belt problem, and let's just say it brightened up my day. I had a similar problem recently with the alternator belt being loose and causing squealing. It was a GREAT walk down memory lane when i found this video again today. The video just keeps on giving. 😂 Truth be told, I couldn't provide a better one in Arabic or whatever his first language is. Points for effort.

We need more information. I did this job today. Two belts took about an hour; no room to work. Both the power steering pump and the alternator have 12mm adjusting bolts, 12mm adjusting bolt bolts (adjusting bolt goes through), and 14mm bolts that hold the hinges. Two get the pump and the alternator to swing down and in, Loosen the 14mm bolts for each respective belt/pulley system, then loosen the adjusting bolt bolt, and unscrew the adjusting bolt to get enough slack to slip old belt off and put new one on. Then finish with reverse order. This is a dirty job and you may wish to have a lube shop take the beating. Also, wratchet wrenches make all the difference here too

Those are not timing belts. They are the power steering and alternator/A/C compressor drive belts.

Good basic information, but no details on removal of the bolts.

DOHC 16V = duel over head cam 16 valve. bolt at the end of the alternator he pointed the camera at is what you loosen to drop the alternator enough to slide the belt on, tighten that bolt back and your good to go. poor video but a for effort.
