i already change mine it took me less than 1 hour , working good now , bought a piece for 40 euros and everything is ok , thanks again for the great post.
The resistor is toast in this case. The wire is only there to bypass this power transitor. In this case the blower will run, but only at full speed. Thus it gives you the possibility to remove moisture from your windshield.
