Have you ever been told that ‘“All you need is love”? In today's video we talk about how your love can't change a narcissist, but there is something that can.

Jesus came for the sinners, including the narcisists and even if we are Not narcisists, we've all fallen short from the Glory of God. So, I agree that consequences change a narcisist, Yet there Is something else. Repentance. And there Is nothing imposible for God. Before the fall comes an increase in pride and haughtiness. Then, come the consequences. Only God can change, transform and turn lives around. The only thing I can advise Is prayer, mercy and compassion, from a distance. Even if there Is no change. God breaks hearts of stone. But unfortunately not all of them. Don't over think about the narcisist. Pray for them and ask for God to have mercy.

Why is it him alone that can change the world and individuals in it? I am asking a sincere question here. I do fully believe in God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Ultimately the reason we believe that Jesus can heal a narcissist is because the power of God resided within Jesus (his son). Are we not all children of God? Jesus was the first and purest, but should we not follow Jesus, yield to the Holy Spirit, and trust that God will turn every thing the enemy (devil, narcissist) intended for evil and use it for our benefit? We should love like Jesus loved, as the only thing we are afraid of is a toxic/narcissistic person taking advantage of us and hurting us. To me this is not fully believing that God has true power over everything and me judging my pain, as too much, and thus allows me to not love somebody as Jesus would.

I agree fully. If we've been doing our best being Christians and pray for things to change with full Faith believing He can and Will.... why does it never happen? We are human and can only take so much. We do everything in our power to go to God for his healing and power. It's made me feel like giving up on my Faith because I never get answers to this situation. I hang on by saying, I know it's in God's timing, all things work together for good, if God is with us, who can be against us, no weapon formed against us shall prosper. But years of this is draining me. I want to have friends to do things with and just go on my marry way enjoying life like he does. What friends I do have work and enjoy things with their families. I just joined a couple groups looking for woman friends. It's nice being on line with them but I want close friends who I can hang out with and have fun instead of setting home. Everything I do, I do alone most of the time. How do we find friends to get away from this stuff. It sure would be nice to be normal again. When my husband was saved he wasn't like this but that only lasted for about 5 years. I wish and pray the Holy Spirit would hit him like a rock 😂 knock some since in him 😅🤣😅 all kidding aside I do wish the Holy Spirit would come on him and change him like he's never been before to where you know something happened to him. Or I'll even take him coming on me that I would be filled with so much joy nothing would ever bother me and I would just go around speaking Godly things to better this world. God where are you when we REALLY REALLY NEED YOU. I pray things will turn around for you cause I know your pain. ❤ love you in Christ Jesus

I agree with you, sister Kris! The Bible does not teach love and tolerance. The Bible teaches love and repentance. We need to understand discernment in relationships because, let's face it, the devil often uses those closest to us to derail us from our God ordained path (Matthew 7:15-20). We need to be mindful of the company we keep because relationships have a way of affecting us, whether we realize it or not (1 Corinthians 15:33). Discernment is about being wise. It's about knowing who to let into your inner circle and who to keep at arm's length. Great examples of this are Samson and Delilah.

I’m really really struggling with this right now…my husband and I moved too far away from our home church of 22years where we served and had koinania(fellowship) mostly with just believers….until moving away and since then we’ve made our blood family our source of fellowship, but they’re NOT true believers….a few are Jesus admirers, a few say they believe in God, but the vast majority of our family havnt read or studied the word, nor ever attended church. Some of them have fallen prey to what the woke say Christianity is, while others have fallen prey to other false teachings. We also have to deal with several narcissists in the family….I feel SO OPPRESSED since leaving my church community….I’m sent out amoungst the wolves…..Lord HELP US!!!

We CANNOT love God & His Son, YeshuaJesus if we don’t TRUST His Word His Ways His intent. And we won’t want to understand or be able to OBEY if we can’t trust. It’s not about being tense & in fear it’s the PEACE that comes after doing the work of self confrontation & REPENTANCE. It’s the New Birth of RESTING the joy of God’s protective boundaries. Anyone who is truly God’s child will think see hear walk talk & look like Jesus in their way of doing things, just like kids may resemble their physical fathers. So NO we are definitely NOT ALL GOD’S kids. Sadly most prefer & adopt HaSatan’s ways, become his & choose to live in his burning house If they don’t reject it & escape they share his fate.

Love doesn't lead to destruction. We don't love at the expense of our own well-being. It's easy to advice about love when we haven't experienced the destructive ways narcissists deal and relate with people. God has boundaries while creating the earth and humanity. What makes us think that we can't have boundaries? We were commanded to be gentle as doves but be wise as serpents. We won't finish the race that we have to run if we allow a demonically infiltrated narcissist to take us out ahead of our time. This is intense spiritual warfare and many people don't know what they're talking about until the time they encounter the narcissist.

But it's the most loving thing you can sometimes do under the Biblical reasons. Love is often a very hard action we must take. A very misunderstood truth in today's contemporary New age theology. @darlenelivergood5518 The Bible doesn't say anything about not praying for someone turned over to satan. I think based on the overarching teaching of prayer in the Bible, someone in that state should probably be prayed for more. That being an open door for satan to wreak havoc in someone's life, God will use it to open their eyes and bring them to repentance. I'm not sure there is a scripture in the Bible that says we should stop praying for anyone. But based on each situation, how we pray and what we ask for does matter.

Sometimes loving a narcissist means walking away from the narcissist for a time or even forever and trusting God to do the work He never intended for you to do. I am utterly amazed at how well this has been working in my life. Narcissists can change but it is God who changes them in His timing and by His means…so love God, yourself and the narcissist in your life by giving all control over to God. Trust God! I have been doing that and now I am seeing what most people thought was completely impossible.

Me and my husband are Christians since our only son was 7yo (there was an incident he was also involved which God used) and have raised him according to the Bible since then. Perhaps not perfect but we did all we could in a "crash course" like walking with Christ. After all, he would sadly develop covert narcissist traits as a teenager and even manifesting in his 20s. In 2019 my atheist father died and our son would take the "chance" to choose the side of my narcissistic mother who hates Jesus and ist highly manipulative. As I had an ongoing lawsuit with her about my fathers legacy it was not possible to have explained the situation to my son. I prayed for him since then but after four years of silence and ghosting have to acknowledge that he most probably wouldn't have been chastised by God (Hebrews 12) to find his way home as a prodigal. I certainly suffer loss but on the other hand would NOT want him to come back in the condition he left because this behaviour of his was unbearable in our home. It might just have increased and he's "not from us" (1 John 2:19) and never will. 🙏👰💖 MARANATHA Gods will be done! Blessings your way from Germany, hang in there!

The most important components in love are Truth and Loyalty ( fidelity ) ; love have nothing to do with lies or with treason . And those who love lies and treasons have nothing to do with love . I am sure that this is the reason why in the King of Kings thigh is written Loyal and True .

That's the best definition of narcisssistic laziness I have heard. When people described narcissists as such, it was one point that didn't seem to fit the profile of my narc ex-gf. HOWEVER, what you said is right on point! She was hardworking in the independent sphere of life, but when it came to the relationship, she would barely lift a finger. She would even ask me to do things for her that were absurdly trivial, things she could have easily done for herself. I got the impression that for her, being served was one source of supply. It gave her some kind of weird comfort or validation knowing she had someone at her beck and call.
@aclaar877
@aclaar877 8 месяцев назад
Yes, that's exactly my experience - my wife likes asking for help and favors for trivial things. Things so small that you can't really say no, but I've been trained to always be ready when she is around, like I can't really relax. In her mind it's a type of bonding and leaning on each other.
@timothyrday1390
@timothyrday1390 8 месяцев назад
@@aclaar877 Yea, it would also make me tense up a bit. Also, many women don't seem to understand that it takes a lot of effort for men to get into their concentration zone, so what seems like a trivial task to women can actually break the concentration and cause men to lose their productivity, which is demoralizing.

I tried that approach also in my marriage, nope, don't work, you only have so much to give. I prayed for God to help me love him, give me the love I need to be a good wife. I was drained and tired, I couldn't sleep, eat or think straight. Then a switch turned off in me. I didn't have the desire to talk, just listen and nothing more, he started to say strange things, nobody else could believe either. I called for help because I was way over my head. Now, he has put out a death threat on me. No contact only makes him more sneaky. And the lies, he wants others to believe are astronomical and he's been stating them under oath. Pray God exposes every lie

I'm with you sister. Nothing has worked for me. Mine lies all the time and very sneaky. I hardley talk any more either and I just feel Numb. I use to cry all the time but I don't have any feelings left in me most the time. He's so nice to everyone but me so no one else sees it. My kids who are adults don't even see it. I've wanted to end my life different times but now I realize I deserve better then this, I just don't know how to get it and still stay in the same house. If I just had people to get out with more often I'd be much better. That's my goal now is find more friends and go more places. I just started looking for groups on line and my town but not much here in my area.

Ignoring him, like he did me. I planned my exit and thought I had everything almost done.Guess God had a different idea. Prayers for you too.

We do love like Jesus when we refuse to allow others to use and abuse us. We remove ourselves from enabling ungodly behavior, and that has often been referred to as tough love. It's the same principle in which children learn what is acceptable and what will not be tolerated so they don't grow up to have a sense of entitlement to treat others however they want to.

I have given so many chances to my narcissistic father until one day I drew the line and said: That's it! One more time you are hurting me, humiliating me, insulting me, gossiping about me, turning ppl against me, offend me emotionally, I am out of your life forever. I swear! And indeed, he continued to harm me without the slightest guilt. Like I had promised him, I kept my word and went no contact. After 5 years he phoned me to ask me a favour, as he knew he was dying. Only then did he contact me, 2 weeks before his death, but not to apologize or make amends, but for me to serve him as a nurse, a cleaner and a servant.

Amen! The only way to deal with narcissists is outlined in Matthew 18, I Timothy 5, and just look at the interactions Jesus had with the Pharisees! God HATES the evil that narcissists heep on this world. People have tried to label me toxic for pointing out lies, hypocrisy, and abusive behavior, saying I am the most toxic person they’ve ever met. Yet they’re the ones defending church leaders who have, I kid you not, told me it would have been better to neglect my mother than to not work for them (I asked for extended time off because she broke her knee and my dad couldn’t take time off); who told me I sinned because I promptly ended a phone call that was becoming unrighteous (I said as much and hung up); who said my dad should quit his job to take care of my mom (so you want them to starve and be homeless??); who has, from the pulpit, said that pride and hypocrisy can be good things 🤯; who refused to do Matthew 18 and told me to forgive because I would never receive an apology; who told me I needed to act as though nothing happened and act well emotionally at church if I wanted to stay there… It’s true that the world calls good bad and bad good, and that they’ll hate us on account of Him; that men will walk around as wolves among sheep, devouring Jesus’ followers if given the chance; and that others will most often choose to be like every other passerby but the Good Samaritan in these situations.

Great thoughts indeed. Interesting from the person's comments, it's a one sided love versus seeing and realizing ALL should be loving within any relationship and when feedback is given that what was said or done was unacceptable, the true heart will care about that and heartfeltly desire change. No relationship can work on a one sided feed of love.

God and people generally don't love thosr who lie, cheat and try to destroy another's character for fun as people with narcissistic personality disorder do to those who are more ethically minded and genuinely care for others. Consequences is what leads to repenting and fear of loss in the future which people without the disorder have. Its recognizing the wolves and then learning how to protect yourself for the long term and not getting triggered by complex ptsd symptoms and suffering in the hands of callous people

Their evil teaching will spread like a sickness inside the body. Hymenaus and Philetus are men like that. They have left the true teaching. They say that the raising from death of all men are destroying the faith of some people. But God’s strong foundation continues to stand.These words are written on that foundation. The Lord knows those who belong to him. And also these words are written on that foundation. Everyone who says that he believes in the Lord must stop doing wrong. 2 Timothy2:17. 2;16 stay away from those who talk about useless worldly things. That kind of talk will lead a person more and more away from God…. Because they think they are their own God. It’s all about themselves. Control makes us lose ourselves. Thank you ❤
