thanks Steve, changed mine out yesterday. If it hadn't been for this vid, I would have spent the day trying to figure out that fuse box attachment to the battery cage, and would never have had the confidence to just break it away like that. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Steve, I looked, and looked and started to undo the whole cradle...thinkin how the Heck!!! Easy Peasy after watching your video..took 15 mins..👌
Hi Steve, thanks for showing the battery change on the Seadoo. this is my first year owning on and had problems with the battery already. I need to replace it since the post came out of the battery. My question is the dranage tubs shown in the video, do they just pop off the battery and I need an extention tool for the removal of the bolts, are all the bolts 13 milimeters? Since I leave the seadoo outside during the winter in TN, should I remove the battery every year?
I have and older model 2006 GTI and the battery is located under the seat. Do I need to do anything different from your video? I couldn’t find anything on changing the battery on an older model. Thanks so much!!!
Excellent video! Many Thanks for your effort in making this. Can I ask - Do you run the risk of losing settings on the computer when you disconnect the battery? Should any type of external supply be connected to maintain settings? I have a 2013 GTX 155. Thanks again.
Thanks much for this very helpful video. As a pretty serious backyard mechanic I can say that without a doubt the battery box and accessory bracket mounting are some of the worst design and engineering efforts I have ever seen. Shame on Bombardier for making what should be a very simple task into a complete quagmire!
Jet ski batteries can be charged but never jump start it from a car. If the battery is over 3 years old then you should replace it. I have more about jet ski batteries here www.steveninsales.com/reasons-why-your-jet-ski-battery-dies/
I'm changing my battery but I'm unable to get one of the screws out. The screw turns but it won't come out. I've even tried lifting up on the battery and turning the screw. Any other suggestion? Someone else mentioned the same problem in the comments. I'd hate to have to take it to a local shop just to get the battery out . I'm going to try again tomorrow.
There no such machine as a seadoo jet ski…..that would be a Kawasaki seadoo. Bombardier makes sea-doo. Kawasaki makes jet ski. Learn stuff and quit making me mad.
