Thank you so much! Excellent job explaining. I just fixed the window on my 2016 L200 ML door is not quite the same but your video helped me out 100%. Somehow the glass had fallen off of the rails. It would not close. Thanks to you I managed to unistall it and do the install from scratch. Thanks again!
Your very welcome, sorry it wasn't better but it was such a cold day and I was under the weather. Next time your in the door, run your hand down the inside of the door, fallen off bits and bobs collect there. Take care and Thanks.
LoL I'm so glad it helped, I was sick as a dog making that vid. I new there was nothing on the web to help, so I felt I had to record the info. All the best.
Your welcome, I noticed that there wasn't anything online about it so I knocked this guide out. Glad it helped John. I'll be doing some more L200 stuff this Spring.
Not sure if this will help me get the new glass (sans brass coated bit at the bottom) into my MK Triton with manual winder, but at least gives me some clues! Cheers for throw this up all those years ago!
that's a wee bit complicated! could you please post a video of all the cursing and throwing of fits while figuring that all out? cheers mate! I hope you and yours are doing splendidly!
The side windows on my S10 pickup truck fell out of shape last year. Turns out the parts to repair it cost pennies. Plastic guide runners on either side that connected the window to the hand crank. old age just caused them to break. I ended up making a tool to take the window crank handle off the gear post. I cut a rectangle out of a frying pan spatula to knock the clip out from behind. The 1980s era Chevrolet S10 is basically a Nissan with some body trim cosmetic changes and a different engine and drivetrain.
would have been better without the kids screaming as they do sound very feral and uncontrollable and the camera would have been better not shaking so much
