Not really. If the account is new (to prevent fraud) AWS limits what resources can be created. For example, you cannot create large EC2 instances. This can be easily fixed by contacting AWS support. You can change the root email without affecting what you can start.

Correct, there is nothing called super user in AWS. The equivalent is root user in AWS. Wonder what you mean by Amazon SC?
