You're the only trainer I'VE seen train beagles. All other leading trainers have surprisingly low content on training the beagle breed. Beagles are so amazing, we need more of beagle training online. Can you do it please?

Sure. I am going to create more beagle training videos. Stay tuned!

Saro, I'm a first time dog owner. I have a 4 month pit bull. Rescued him when he was 8 weeks. Your videos have made training this puppy so easy. He picks up commands with ease, he's potty trained, crate trained, and an overall calm and very well behaved dog. Saro, thank you for giving me the tools to not just train my dog, but also gives us the ability to share an incredible bond with each other.

I had a smile on my face when you were working with Skye. She really connected with you, and it was lovely to see the affection you shared with her. Thank you!

Used to use treats to train my pup but after viewing your videos I’ve now had excellent response without treats at all and it works better with just praise.

Saro - simply inspirational, you are a great role model for me. So many of the things I am seeing I shall be doing with my boy. I have never used harsh methods and I do praise him. But a 5-second fuss is not quite the same (I play with him but never while training). Currently training for silver obedience with my adolescent boy and admit I do use treats in training. Not in the test - but in teaching new things - I am going to try your way instead :) Question - do you have any training tips for positioning ie heelwork and freestyle to music - where the dogs positioning is quite important?
@SaroDogTraining
@SaroDogTraining 5 лет назад
Thank you so much for your comment and your feedback. Please give it a try by mixing some play in the training. You\ll be surprised how effective it is. Most dog owners they don't even realize that dogs can be trained without the treats and automatically use treats. About the positioning for the heel work, I don't specialize on competitive obedience training so, I am not much an expert in that department but you ca watch my method of training the heel command to dogs which is loose heel training. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nONt26UKWVo.html

Great video Saro, I learnt so much. I need to try this with my puppy. I have a question today - how do you stop a dog from getting over excited and jumping up on guests or when they meet someone new?

Thank you so much for watching. Please give it a try and let me know how it goes. I have a perfect video, where I show how to deal with dog's jumping on guests. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kBF8g502laM.html

I like your videos very much! Wondering if you have a website that has videos on it that you can watch for helpful tools to help with your beagle? Cuz if they help with a beagle they would probably help with any dog. I have to say sky in Annie are very cute dogs! I have a beagle mix We rescued him at an early age and now he is 14 years old and we're looking to get a little sister who's actually a full beagle she is a rescue and they say she is very sweet and a little shy but I think she will do just fine. Fritzy is a beagle border collie mix and yes very intelligent very independent because they're both intelligent independent thinking dogs. He can change from hurting to tracking in an instant. We have brought them out to a farm where they had goats and he was able to hurt them and get them in a group all on his own so he has Natural Instincts. And then when he was done he went off tracking and checking out the property looking for different things to smell and when he came back cuz we called him back he found the goats off on their own again and went to hurt them back in a group it was amazing to see how he just changed his breed characteristics in an instant. He is a great dog he cannot come off leash when we go for walks around the neighborhood the cars just speed and he has no traffic sense at all I've tried but he just follows his nose and I'm afraid he's going to get hit. So I put them on a Long Leash so he can track. And he seems quite content. And when people come over the house I have to put him on a leash before opening the door cuz I cannot break the habit of him being an escape artist. But he has been an awesome dog throughout the years! And we are looking forward to little Molly when she arrives in the near future. So I'm hoping to see more of your videos cuz I know what the two of them I will be busy!

You are fabulous!! I am so enjoying your videos on dog training. Do you have any advice for my beagle that is so afraid of thunder and just sweats ant shakes and pants. It's scary. Thank you!
@SaroDogTraining
@SaroDogTraining 4 года назад
Try working on the basic commands like sit, stay and wait with your beagle an d when there are times that gets into that mode, ask or practice them with your beagle and get your beagle to focus on you and not the thunder. It will be hard but the more time you invest the sooner and better it will get. The main take out is to get your beagle not to focus on the fireworks but you or a toy, anything that your beagle loves.

I understand that you may have been seeking solutions through various videos, but it's important to realize that addressing the core issues requires more than just bits and pieces of advice scattered here and there. If you're feeling overwhelmed and at your wit's end, I highly recommend considering an investment in a comprehensive program that can provide the holistic support you need. By committing financially, mentally, and emotionally to a program, you'll gain access to the guidance and resources necessary to address not just one specific issue, but everything that you're struggling with. This investment will enable you to cultivate a healthy and happy relationship with your beagle, allowing you to fully enjoy your life without the constant worry. While I can certainly share some helpful tips here and there, they may not provide the complete solutions you're seeking. Relying on scattered advice from different sources can result in a never-ending cycle of searching for answers. If you're interested in working with me personally, I encourage you to learn more about my program and reach out to me so we can begin this transformative journey together. Can we train a beagle which is only a month old ?
@SaroDogTraining
@SaroDogTraining 4 года назад
A month old is just too young and it is not ready yet for formal training. Focus on training basic puppy training issues rather than formal training. I highly suggest you watch the following videos to learn more about what you need to do. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ERvfydL3ISA.html and also this:ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sagqvnzIgg0.html

If Sadie gets excited when praised verbally, than use physical praise or vise versa.

Okay...I need help! Please someone reach out to me! I just rescued a German Shorthair Lab. He is emaciated but gaining weight beautifully. He, however, is a hunting dog, I am guessing no one wanted him. Well, he does not listen, obviously he has a new name. So how do I train him to listen to my voice, learn his name, and for Heaven sake how do I leash train him without him dragging me!!! 🤣😂😱 He’s very affectionate and loving, but as soon as I put a leash on him and try to walk, he is nose to the ground running. I have to undo what his previous owners did to him. I’d like for him to be able to run with me eventually. I am not doing much with him now, because I do not want to overdo it and end up hurting him while he’s gaining weight. But each day he gets stronger and stronger, it gets harder and harder to get his attention. Treats do not work with him unless he’s still and not on the leash. He is 1 and 1/2 years old according to the vet.
