Splash jet always gives the best detailed video. I am thinking of converting my epson l805 to sublimation. Once i tried to order epson wf c5790 cartridge from splashjet but it was out of stock
Just got a brand new Epson Ecotank L8050 and I'm planning to convert it to pigment ink. Is it still possible to do the conversion by completely draining it via printing a lot of pages and re-filling it with pigment ink? Or do I have to do this process?
Changeover is a bit difficult in Epson L8050. However, if you have technical help available then you can follow the process shown in the video. If not we would suggest you get in touch with a service engineer or service provider to help you with the changeover.
Am I able to put Pigment ink in any new Epson Ecotank or is it only possible with certain Epson Ecotank models ? I’m wanting to put pigment ink in an Epson L4260 :-)
As the printhead technology used for the Epson Printer is PIEZO, you can use pigment ink in any of the Epson Printers. Ensure that the pigment ink is made as per the printer.
Hello, The ink changeover process might need a little optimisation (in terms of changing the dampers and pipes of white ink, the roller that might have been removed while converting it to the DTF machine, etc.). So I would request you to consult a local technician who offer such conversion services. Although, we would recommend to go with a new printer for sublimation (which can be easy to convert to dye / pigment )
Sir i have Epson L130....i already filled edible ink in it for cake print ..now I want to remove all ink ..and add regular dye ink for paper print ....can i do this process..?
This is just the Ink Changeover Process. You may need to change some parts inside the printer to perform DTF on it. For that, We would request you to get in touch with an expert.
If it is a new printer without any ink in it then you can directly use it for sublimation. If not, then use the changeover process to remove the ink and put sublimation ink and then use it.
I accidentally put a little bit of pigment ink to my sublimation ink. What will I do? Because I was refilling it so I did not see that I picked up the wrong bottle of ink
It's not BAD if you do it correctly. The video reference is given with each and every detail to make you understand do it correctly so that you don't have to change the Costly Printhead every time you face issue.
