@@Tryingmybestsince1999 Not a relay. Just on the rear of the SBC pump unit (the one with each individual brake line going to each wheel), you will see a large connector about 10cm long and 2 cm wide. Pull on the top handle tab to unlock and allow it to pull back and disconnect (all of it including the tab is part of the plug, don´t break it).
The scanner detects if there are no errors in the brake system. check before a replacement for errors and after replacement to eliminate errors / electronic wear sensors are disabled during replacement.
@@autodocuk I think you'll find your tech was disabling the SBC pump. That's a standard part of doing a brake change on an SBC-equipped Mercedes. Otherwise you can end up with the system applying the brakes as you are working on them... The joys of having the most advanced braking system ever fitted to a car!
