I have a 2013 Honda Accord EXL Coupe. I did not need to pry open the fender screws. Just used philips screwdriver to remove fog lamp and fog lamp cover. Hope this helps

The glass/plastic fog light enclosure cover is cracked. As in a piece is missing and exposes the bulb inside. It could be due to this that the Foglight stopped working so I didn’t fault the LED bulb.

@@AwkwardHamster Oh I see. But you would have a rough idea of how many years it lasted for you, right? I'm considering to buy this c6 h11 for my Accord and wanted to have a sense of the longevity. Based on that will decide. Other options I have here are osram and Phillips.

I think it lasts 3 years. That’s because I think I changed the Accord and CR-V bulbs around the same time and I now need to change the CRV bulb. The replacement bulb arrived earlier this week. I also used the fog light whenever I use the headlight. Easier to see corners and turn. Intersections by me are not well lit.

should you adjust the foglamps after changed into the LED? I see the level light on the wall little bit too high compared to halogen

AwkwardHamster i had installed c6 led on my foglamps for 6 weeks, unluckily the right side start blinking and the led was dead...

In some cars, they need a relay harness to stabilize the current. When the current's not stable the light will flicker. For one of my Honda's I couldn't install high beam LED bulbs because of the unstable current. And I didn't want to spend the extra $10 to get the relay harness.

These lights has just 1 way to plug in. The plug doesn't allow me to reverse it.

That lights are very bad,i bought 2 9005 for my Grand Cherokee 2008 so i just put them on my fog lights and after the second day i went into a big puddle and they stop working,looks like the water went inside the fan : (

Connector is the same but I think most folks, including myself, use lower watt bulbs for fog lights. My fog light is in a space without good ventilation. Lower watt is still brighter than halogen bulbs while generating less heat.

its brighter and you have glare....which blinds other drivers, but you and most people that have these on their cars don't seem to know this. Your housing was not meant to be used w these bulbs.

Truthfully it’s a safety hazard... 90% of people aren’t aware of that. You really think it’s as simple as plug and play? Need to have the appropriate housing to house LED/HID.

+EAGLE___EMPIRE Yea, that sucked. Was more annoyed when I learned the Accords built after mine had that part redesigned so headlight bulb can be easily accessed from under the hood.

This is terrible. You need the correct housing for those. You can see in the light comparison on the wall that the LED has a arch or rounded look. This means there is too much light scatter and you are blinding other drivers. You should upgrade to a better halogen bulb or upgrade the fog light housing with the proper projector. A poor mod is a ricer mod.

jeremiah miranda This isnt even related but have you seen projector fog lights they look so sick and work with leds with out blinding oncoming traffic since it has a sharp cut off due to the projector.
