2018 Jeep Cherokee 2.4L 4 cylinder
Oil change done every 5,000 miles or so with fully synthetic fill.
Tools needed:
• 3/8 ratchet amzn.to/48x4l5j
• 3/8 breaker bar amzn.to/3LG0w3T
• Torque wrench (20 ft lbs.) amzn.to/3PAhD8f
• Extensions amzn.to/3RAzj6o
• Oil filter removal tool amzn.to/4567ZAg
• 0W-20 full synthetic oil (5.5. quartz) amzn.to/3LAyU00
• Oil filter amzn.to/45bH7Ph
• Wheel ramps or jack stands amzn.to/3RDZrO0
• Oil catch pan amzn.to/3rqAD1d
Duration: 30 minutes or so

I have a 2013 Cherokee Trailhawk, in 4cyl, it has the same configuration and oil requirements. Good to know, saved time and a fortune.

Don’t use the 13mm on Mopar drain plugs! It rounds them use 1/2 inch.

@@paulsutton5951 then it’s been replaced. Jeep and Dodge are a 1/2 from factory. I’ve done a lot of them.

and don't forget to reset oil life counter in the car unless you don't wanna see the warning about oil life.

I don’t know who’s been telling these guys to pour oil in the filter that is not needed. You just have to lubricate that rubber seal that’s it. Stick your finger in the jug. Get it wet rub it around the entire seal make sure the whole thing is coated that’s all.😳🙄🤨

So I saw that when you pulled the filter off it was leaking from the splash guard closer to the wheel that’s no Bueno for my driveway and I have to put a big piece of cardboard down. I hate splash guards.
