How To Change Oil On A Hemi Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 | Step-By-Step Guide

In this video, I run thru an oil change on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. Not really a how-to but you can use it for reference. Enjoy the video.
Oil and oil filter: I used Mobil 1 0w40 for the oil which almost took 7 quarts and Mopar MO-339 oil filter.
Tools: Drain pan, funnel, 13mm socket and ratchet, and an oil filter socket oil.

Just a little tip, you can reset the oil light by turning it to run then pressing the gas pedal to the floor three times!

Not a problem, it works for most of dodge/chrysler/Jeep products. Most Chevrolet vehicles are the same as well👍🏽

Great video. Came here to find out what size 14-facet cap filter cup to use, but alas you stated you didn't know what size you were using yourself. I'll keep searching. I prefill my filters as well, to cut down on time till full oil pressure is achieved.

Torque specs for oil drain plug is 20 lbs

your oil says European Car Formula? is that ok I assume? as long as its 0-40?

Yes it’s compatible. The Mobil 1 specs match the Pennzoil. Jeep recommends Pennzoil but I couldn’t find any locally.

@@605garage Yeah can't find Pennzoil local. I order mine from Amazon and only available in 1 qt bottles so I order two cases of 6 each time. Thanks!

How many miles you change the oil

I think it was at 5,700 miles, that's when the 5% oil life light came on.

@@605garage if that’s mobile one synthetic , then u change it from 10 to 20 k I personally change it every 8k miles
