How to change replace Air filter in Mazda 3 2013-2018

I was having trouble getting the housing closed after replacing the filter, so I searched for a video and found this one. Turns out I didn't have it aligned with the 3 notches in the back. Went back to my car and fixed it. Thanks so much.

Yes, thank you because I was feeling taken advantage of so I thought I would google "Where is the air filter in a 2015 mazda 3 and your video popped up and I found the filter in my car so I will buy my own damn filter and put it in myself and save myself some money!! So thank you very much!

I have a Question sir. In the upper housing box there is another filter I think so. I can see it in the car in your video and I have it in my Mazda 3 2017 too and looks so dirty and don’t now if I have to remove it or wash it. what do you think? I think this make my car slowly special when I stopped in the light.

I should have seen this video before. Went to oil change they said they have change the filter I said yes, They put additional $33 dollars. The part is cheap. We can do it ourselves.

This video was awesome but guys, don't forget to insert the tabs that are sticking out at the bottom of the air filter "dome" to the 2 or 3 holes at the base of the air filter house! You will see them and know they need to be inserted to each other lol I kind of struggled with that part.

In the 13-15 EU model it is harder. The buckles are different ways like this, two buckles on the borders and two plastic locks on the top side.
