Thanks i followed your advice exactly (we have the same car) and all went well ,feels like i have more power when driving and much quicker to respond when accelarating, thanks
great video as i have the same engine, also when puting the spark plugs back make sure not to hit the tip of the spark plug on the way in messes up the gapping for sure.
i did this and put it all back together turned the engine on to test and now the engine light is on lol howeve the electode gap is according to haynes manual 0.8mm but the new plugs are 1mm can this really make that much of a diffrence ? The origonal plugs are discontinued so the only alternative is the ones i got maybe ill have to remove them and adjust the gap ad see it the light goes off i know its said that the wrong plugs can cause all sorts of problems my car is the C180 petrol 2L 2002 plate.
I am having a problem with my W203 M271 engine. The 1st spark plug has been stuck and all i replace are the remaining 3. How do I remove the stuck spark plug without damaging anything on the head. My cars performance gets affected as sometimes when I press down the accelerator the car has a rough idle and engine surging.
