Thank you! I just returned from my local Dyson Service Center in Dallas and was told that they could not replace the battery but offered me a 20% discount on a new unit. I came home and was about to throw my vacuum away when my smart husband intervened to investigate. Thanks to your fine video I have a new battery coming my way via Amazon!
This just happened to me. I had see a video that a guy was dismantling everything in order to change the battery. I was about to do it and decided to give one more just did and I'm so happy.
Thanks for making a great video, I am not a brut so I will use the button when replacing the battery. One suggestion is when you make the videos, if you would use lower volume for the background sound, thanks. Next, I will watch your Rumba battery replacement as that is running low. Please make us more videos.
Wow, it's easy like this? Yes, it is! Thank you! for this valuable tip! Btw: On Amazon (Germany) i could find a 2.500mAh Version fpr the DC35, so something like 25% more Power for only 29€.
Thanks for mentioning this. He should have at least mentioned how much his clone battery cost him and also updated the description to tell us how long before that clone died.
@@madaboutvoice If it will help you: My Original and also my clones last on always "high power" for almost one year, on "Normal power" close to two years.
Many of the DC35 models don't have a button, Dyson told me they kept getting complaints that the battery was dropping out so they screwed it in, thereby screwing anyone from trying to change the battery!
Kay Peacocks You can still change the battery. There are 2 screws, one in handle and one covered by filter at the bottom. Not that hard but inconvienant
two screws on opposite sides hold the battery one short one behind the filter and another longer screw where the release button should be.. plenty of other videos on YT explain/show how to find them if you still can't.
