Here I perform and explain the step by step process of changing the HID headlight bulb in a Nissan Rogue. This example is on a 2012 Nissan rogue but it will be the same and almost exact on all other Nissan Rogue models.

I watched several videos about changing the Xenon style of low beam bulb on a Nissan Rouge (2011) and this one is the most descriptive--thank you! I can verify the dealer wants $200+ to replace and install the bulb. However, you do not need to spend $80-100 for a Xenon bulb. I bought a 2-pack on Amazon for $28.99 (DMEX D2R 35W 8000K White Blue Xenon HID Headlight Bulbs 85126 66250 85126UB Replacement). For those attempting to do this themselves, my one piece of advice is BE PATIENT. Each step describe in this video is perfectly doable, but maneuvering in the tight space takes some finesse.

Hello, I would also like to confirm this set of steps worked perfectly to replace the bulb in my 2011 Rogue. Dealership wanted $300 to replace and found the bulbs on Amazon (link above). The only thing that was tough for me was getting the power source off the bulb in such a tight spot but was able to get this completed for $30 rather than $300. Thanks

This video HELPED ME SOOOOOOOOO MUCH! It was the ONLY video I could find where the bulb was CORRECT for my 2013 car. The bulb WAS $100, just like you said!! When I was installing the bulb I felt like I was playing that game from the 80's called OPERATION. I imagine it was tough to get your camera in there to show those tiny clips around the bulb, but that helped me A TON, no joke. I really appreciated finding your vid. Thx a lot!

Great idea about re-installing the old one. Once you re-install the old one, the new one is easy! Just kidding. I replaced the passenger side bulb. What a nut buster of a job! - thanks for the video.

The bulb I have is shaped on a 45 dagree , not straight

the funny thing is he bought the wrong bulbs. the one he has in the video is HID D2S which will not fit because it has a different lock notch. You need a D2R bulb.
